"Thank God you're here!" Beomgyu sat beside Kai, who is always drinking since the day that his lover died. However, Beomgyu or anyone can't stop Kai from drinking almost every day.

"What did Soobin-hyung told you? What is his reason?"

"He is accusing me of something that I never did!"

"Can you specify what accusation is that?"

"I can't tell you!"

"Fine, then I will ask Soobin-hyung!"

"Shut up, and do not talk to him! I know you will also hate me once you know what it is!" Kai glared at his friend.

Beomgyu stared at him in shock. It shivers him to see that expression of Kai, who looked different from what he knew.

"Did you get mad at me? Why are you bursting like that? Does it mean that you are guilty?" Beomgyu frankly said.

"Fuck you! Then leave me just like what everyone else did!" Kai spatted without any thoughts.

"We are doing our best to understand you, but something is odd about you. Take time to fix yourself. I will leave if you are going to talk to me without thinking clearly" Beomgyu stood up and glanced at Kai for the last time before walking away. He feels sorry for Kai, but he can't deny the fact that Kai looked suspicious and different.

Beomgyu dialed his cousin's number, hoping that he can get the answer that he needed.

"Hello Gyu, this is Yeonjun. I picked up your call because Soobinie is sick,"

"Why? What happened to him?"

"He is bothered and he can't sleep or eat well properly. I think you should talk to him because you also deserve to know it."

"I will visit him right now, thank you hyung,"

Just like what usually happens in an aristocratic family, Soobin had an arranged marriage to Yeonjun, who is from the family of great lawyers in the country. Luckily, the two ended up falling in love with each other that makes both of their parents happier than ever. Unlike him, he only loves Taehyun.

He entered the mansion and went straight to the bedroom of the couple. He knocked then he saw his cousin, sitting on the bed and he looks pale.

"I will just leave the two of you here. You can call me if you need anything," Yeonjun excused himself.

"If I'm not mistaken, Kai contacted you,"

"Yes, what's bothering you hyung? I'm worried about your health,"

"I don't know how to face my father anymore. I know it's hard to believe! Our dads and Kai are accomplices in killing Taehyun. Kai is the one who did it using his hands! He shot Taehyun with a gun!" Soobin blurted out then he cried.

Beomgyu froze as he knew that his family is responsible for Taehyun's death. However, he never expected that their best friend is capable of killing his lover. Beomgyu admired Taehyun in shadows because Kai liked him too.

"Then, Kai fooled him and manipulated him on his palm so that they can kill him easily. He died because of loving a wrong person, and for falling easily to the trap of our family" Beomgyu felt numb, his tears are falling non-stop. Taehyun didn't tell it to him directly because he is concerned about his feelings, since Kai is their best friend. This thought made Beomgyu feel terrible.

"I know that you still love Taehyun, and I wanted to do anything to get the justice that he and his family deserve. If you wanted to stand up against your dad, then I will support you! How can they do this to other people, mostly to Taehyun's family! I can't live with this kind of life and I am willing to bet and sacrifice everything for justice" Soobin hugged the younger as they are both crying.

Beomgyu wasn't wrong to think that Soobin is the only one that he can rely on. He only felt the home and familial love that he needed when he's with his cousin. Soobin is the one who supports him genuinely and accepts him wholeheartedly when he can't get it from any of his family members.

"I want you to know that whatever happens, you are still my brother forever" Beomgyu hugged his cousin back.

"Please eat and take care of yourself, Yeonjun-hyung and I are here for you," Beomgyu said as he let his cousin lay down on the bed.

"I will be fine because my dad will never hurt me, unlike you. I will do my best so that my dad won't notice that Yeonjun and I are secretly making a move against him. I will let him pay his crimes by the law. Please hang on and don't leave me. Control your temper as best as you can so that you will not be in danger," Soobin said weakly.

Soobin has no idea, but he won't reveal Taehyun's situation unless he wanted to. They heard a soft knock on the door, then Yeonjun entered, who looked uneasy and hesitant.

"Something happened, the news spread so fast. It's about your friend, Kai," Yeonjun muttered.

The cousins held each other's' hands. Just like Yeonjun, they also feel uneasy.

"He was dead on arrival when the ambulance took him to the hospital. Kai died in a car accident."

They all can't hide their shock while Yeonjun cuddled his crying husband.

Beomgyu is still not moving from his position. His eyes are widely staring at the wall. Kai might have done terrible, but they both value their bond and good memories with their friend. He deserves to pay for his crime, but Beomgyu thinks that death is too much for him. Beomgyu suddenly remembered the lover of Kai.

Is Taehyun responsible for Kai's sudden death?
