The setup of the date that Kai prepared is indeed creepy but, Taehyun is too oblivious to notice the real motive of his lover.

There are a lot of white petals on the grassland, and Taehyun followed the pathway made of petals of white roses. There are also plenty of black candles lit on the side. The majority of the growing roses in the field have thorns. Overall, the setup screams danger yet, Taehyun never thought the hidden message of it.

"Do you like it?"

"Of course I love it! Thank you so much! Happy 3rd-anniversary Hyuka!" Taehyun pecked on Kai's cheek.

Kai flashes a fake smile, but then again, Taehyun does not notice it.

"I'm sorry if that is what I only made as a gift for our anniversary," Taehyun gave him a wrapped rectangular object. Kai opened it, revealing a painting of a silhouette of two lovers sitting in the flower fields watching the sunset from afar.

"It's beautiful, just like the one who made this masterpiece," Kai feels too amused because Taehyun fell for him for real.

"You know my favorite place! I appreciate the thought!" Taehyun is now holding hands while walking with Kai.

"Of course, I know everything about you Taehyunie" Kai's cheerful voice has made Taehyun giggle. They are on the famous flower farm in town, and Kai knows about Taehyun's love for the flowers.

"This is my biggest surprise to you since your birthday is coming!" Kai said with a hint of a grimace. Taehyun just walked while holding the right hand of his boyfriend.

"Can I pick some flower?"

"Sure! Do it while you still can!" Kai's statement has an underlying meaning. Taehyun started picking the white rose nearby as he let go of Kai's hand.

They are both laughing while walking around until Taehyun's smile vanished when he saw Choi Beomseok and Choi Soohyun standing nearby.

"What are they doing here?" Taehyun stared at him in confusion, unlike Kai, who is still smiling widely.

"Let's leave! I don't have a plan to meet with the people who betrayed my family!" Taehyun tried to pull Kai with him to turn around and leave, but Kai just stopped him from walking away.

"It's not yet the time to leave, young man," Choi Beomseok is walking towards them.

"What's this all about Hyuka?" Taehyun asked his boyfriend, and he is as confused as hell because of Kai's expression.
