In the afternoon, Beomgyu is surprised when he saw his friend talking with his father in the living room. They look serious while talking and when they saw him approaching, Kai's expression suddenly changed.

"There you are! You want to come with me?" Kai chirped.

"You can come with him" his father coldly stated before walking away.

Kai started clapping his hands, dragging the raven-haired boy to bring him to the bar where they usually hang-out. Well, Beomgyu is just watching out his friend who keeps on drinking and flirting with different people since last week. The elder would often scold Kai, but ended up in a fight and Beomgyu has no choice but to control his patience towards the younger.

Kai immediately went over the table where he's always sitting, VIP sits for an influential person like him. He is from the family of a prominent businessman and he is also friends with Beomgyu's cousin. He ordered his favorite cocktail drink and Beomgyu only drinks one glass of beer. The elder isn't into drinking, nor flirting with other people.

Beomgyu just watches as some men and women gather up near Kai. He is just listening to their chit chat and he is relieved that no one is talking to him because he is not fond of talking to other people compared to Kai. The elder is only watching his friend as he started dancing with random people and it is obvious that Kai is tipsy.

Beomgyu can't take his eyes off to his friend who drinks a lot more than usual. He is holding a glass, drinking while swaying his body and Beomgyu is trying his best to avoid blowing up in anger in front of the younger.

Kai started flirting with random men who look a little bit older than him. They are exchanging seductive looks and he noticed that Kai is talking in a long time with a brunette who is smaller than him. Beomgyu's eyes widen when he saw that Kai is now kissing the stranger. He is used to seeing him hugging or touching other men, but this time it's different and anger starts welling up from Beomgyu's chest for some reason.

When he saw that their kiss is getting deeper, Beomgyu stood up and went to pull his friend away from the stranger. The two become startled and they are both glaring at Beomgyu.

"Leave us alone, now" Beomgyu sternly said. The brunette just rolled his eyes, walking away from the two.

"Why are you getting in my way again? Haven't I made myself clear last time that you don't have the right to stop me?" Kai is glaring at the elder.

"This is too much, I know that you are still grieving but it doesn't mean that you have to be alcoholic, flirt with different faces, and to kiss another guy! He doesn't deserve this and you have to stop before life gets harder for you!" the music is too loud that's why other people can't hear Beomgyu's outburst.

Kai usually cries when the elder is shouting at him like that, but Kai started laughing oddly that made Beomgyu look puzzled.

"You talk as if you're better than me huh. You are only recognized by people as Soobin's cousin, Beomseok's son because you are pathetic" Kai is now smirking at him.

Beomgyu can't absorb what he just said, thinking that his friend is too intoxicated. But it sounded like Kai meant to say all of those words. Beomgyu stiffened and he is hurting.

"Do I have to feel surprised? It turns out you are one of those narrow-minded people who can never understand nor accept who I am" Beomgyu's smile is full of bitterness, he hid the fact that he trusted Kai and he expected that he's genuine and kind.

Strangely, Kai's expression changed into a soft one, tears are forming on his eyes in an instant.

"Wait, Beomgyu-hyung" he said while massaging his temple.

"I don't want to see your face again" Beomgyu turned his back as he left the place with a heavy heart.

He directly went to his room when he arrived at home, and that's when his tears started rolling down on his face. He doesn't know anymore if he has any friends, or he is completely alone in this life. He badly wanted to curse, shout, or to punch the younger but he can't do it to the person whom he is attached to.

He never expected that someone like Kai can hurt him and belittle him. In Beomgyu's perspective, Kai is someone that you can easily like and trust because of his jolly personality.

Beomgyu harshly wiped his tears, being hurt to the fact that he has nobody to rely on and to cry on at moments like this. The house is too large for him and he is always alone in his room. The four corners of the room have witnessed how Beomgyu often cries. Just like what usually happens, he cried until he fell asleep.

At midnight, Taehyun appeared in the sleeping boy's room. He is staring at him and he notices the tear stains on Beomgyu's face. He tried to touch his face, but he still can't and he feels sad that no one can wipe his tears.
