They heard the sound of the gun, and at the same time, a loud sound interrupted them. The chandelier fell at the spot where Choi Soohyun is standing, and it crashed his body. His blood splattered everywhere, and he is dead in an instant.

Meanwhile, they looked at each other to see where the bullet went. Beomgyu held his cousin, who lost his balance in shock. Soobin's left shoulder is bleeding, and it alarmed all of them. Soobin's eyes widened, and he panicked when he felt intense pain from the bullet wound.

"Soobinnie!" Yeonjun yelled when he saw Soobin's bleeding shoulder. He ran towards them and carried his trembling husband.

All of them are assisted by some firefighters on getting out of the villa. Yeonjun brought his husband to the ambulance.

Yeonjun held Soobin's hand, while a paramedic is conducting first aid to his bullet wound. Soobin cried because of being shocked by the awful death of his father. Yeonjun caressed his hair and whispered to assure his husband.

Meanwhile, the two remained standing in front of the married couple. Both are dazed, trying to process what just happened.

"You don't have to worry anymore, Taehyun. An hour ago, the judge declared your family innocent, and they can go back to this town to get back their property. Choi Beomseok is now proven guilty, and he was sentenced to permanent imprisonment," Yeonjun said, smiling lightly at the younger.

At last, his intimidating stare and sharp eyes disappeared. His expressive eyes are showing relief, and he finally found the peace that he deserves.

"Thank you for everything!" he felt grateful for them for playing a big part in achieving his peace of mind and for protecting his beloved.

Yeonjun attempted to pat his head even if they can't touch him. So much in their shock, Yeonjun is now able to touch Taehyun's head, ruffling his soft hair.

"Is this real? I can touch you now!" Yeonjun said in disbelief.

"You deserve the best. I know that you will be happy wherever you go after your judgment day. Thank you for loving our dear Beomgyu" Soobin touched Taehyun's hands.

"We will see you again in the afterlife, and we will miss you, Taehyun-ah!" Yeonjun did a fist-bump with Taehyun.

"It's already 10 pm, you should go somewhere else with Beomgyu and enjoy each other's presence!" Soobin said, pointing at his speechless cousin.

"Thank you very much and see you again!" Taehyun flashes a genuine smile to Yeonjun and Soobin for the last time.

The ambulance left with Yeonjun and Soobin to go to the nearby hospital.

Afterward, Taehyun holds Beomgyu's left hand and intertwined it with his hand. "Let's go to my favorite place!" he muttered, walking together with Beomgyu.
