"ARE YOU sure about that?" tanong ni Voldmir.

Ngumiti ito. "Yes. If you win, you get our pet. If we win, we'll have her head."

"That's unfair!" Feyre shouted. "Your pet is not even worth Solace's nail!"

Mahina ko siyang hinampas. "Hoy. Hindi naman..."

Ang reklamo na ginawa ni Feyre ay nakahikayat ng iba pa. A lot of people also complained about the bet. Hindi daw tama. Sure, the pet was special daw pero hindi naman iyon makakasira 'gaya ko. And because of the pressure brought by the crowd, the bet was changed.

"How about Feyre's death?" Voldmir suggested.

"Wow." sambit ni Feyre sa tabi ko.

Tinitigan ng fighter si Feyre at kapagkuwa'y tumango. "Sige..." parang napipilitan pa ito.

"Wow." sambit ulit ni Feyre.

"Okay! Should we start the pet battle now?"

"Are you really sure about this?" malakas na tanong ni Feyre.

Voldmir gave her a glance. "Bakit? Wala kang tiwala sa pet mo?"

"You really want me to answer that?"

Natahimik kami.

The announcer cleared his throat, taking our attention. "Okay! The rules for this fight have been changed. A battle between the guild's pets will now commence! If a pet retires, that would mean the win for the opposite guild. Ready, start!"

The fire phoenix screeched, making Aslan take a step back and for Poro to hiss. Inutusan ng fighter na umatake ang fire phoenix kaya lumipad ito at nagpalabas ng apoy. Mabilis namang gumalaw ang mga alaga namin at tumakbo! I stared at the fight they had on stage. The fire phoenix keeps on raining them with its attacks while the two kept on running, evading and jumping.

Nagtawanan ang mga tao dahil sa nangyaring habulan sa stage. It was so clear to see that our pets were too afraid. Parang iiyak na si Aslan kapag nakikita ang atake na malapit sa kaniya. Poro even tried to get off the stage! At parang maglulupasay na kami habang pinapanood sila.

Feyre gulped. "My life depends on them."

I chuckled. "Thank you for saving me."

Malakas na tumawa ang tatlong babae nang makita ang habulan. "Mukhang goodbye na sa inyong rogue!"

Mabilis na napahinto si Poro at Aslan. I don't know if they understood what the girl meant but they stopped. Aslan went in front of Poro and tried a roar but it just sounded like a cry of a puppy.

"Oh~ how cute. Is that the best you can-"

'ROOOOAAAARR'

The place became silent when a sound thundered in the air. Even the ground grumbled in response to the sound. The fire phoenix who wanted to lunge for an attack stopped mid-air. Ang tawa at insulto sana ng tatlong babae ay nabitin sa ere. Everyone looked in awe at the little lion who made a loud roar.
