Chapter Fifty-One: Odd Meetings

FINALLY! They will meet up nowww. By the way, this is Year 2071...

Note: Players can customize their appearances: either they choose to look like how they are on real life or make a few changes (e.g. hair color, hair length, eye color, height, etc.). Races such as elves and animal-human combination also exist (Hex being a human-fox)

Solace difference from Reverie is hair length, hair color and her elf ears. Enough to not suspect her. Hindi din ito pinansin ni Acrasia at Rase dahil alam nila ang pagka-ayaw ni Rev sa mga laro.

River is known as Rio publicly but Reverie as his twin is not. He's believed to be an only child. Regarding threats to Reverie's admirers, pinapakilala niya ang sarili bilang matalik na kaibigan ng 'yumao' daw nitong kapatid. For the players, he blocked everyone who knew they're siblings. (Explained on further chapters). Hehe.

"EV, BAKIT ka nakaayos?" tanong ng kambal ko habang umiinom ng kape.

"I'm going out." sagot ko.

"Going out? As in outside your room?"

"As in outside this building."

He looked at my reflection in the mirror. "You look good, already, sis."

I glared at him. "I wasn't dressing up."

"Please don't tell me it's a date," he smiled without humor. "I don't want to send another man in the hospital."

"No one's talking to me at school because of your acting," sagot ko sa kaniya. "Natatakot sila sa'yo."

"Good. Pero saan ka ba pupunta?"

"I'm meeting up some friends," dumaan ako sa gilid niya. "Watch the house for me."

"No."

Lumingon ako. "No?"

"No. You're not going without me." aniya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. I just stared at him questioningly. Anong pinagsasabi nito? Sasama siya sa lakad ko?

He started going downstairs and I followed him. Pumasok siya sa kusina at hinugasan ang baso. I remained standing and watching, remembering what he said. Nang magpunas siya ng kamay ay nagsalita ako.

"Sasama ka? Bakit?" tumaas ang tono ko.

"Because I'm your twin and we need to be beside each other at all times?" tinaasan niya ako ng kilay. "And, by the way, I don't believe you're going out with Acrasia and Rase today. Rase is busy practicing in their company and Acrasia is out of town, plucking strawberries. So who are you gonna meet up with?"

"Nasaan ba si Irusu kung kailangan mo?! Just go and tail him!" sigaw ko at sinundan siya pataas, patungo sa kwarto niya.

Natigilan siya ng ilang segundo, ngunit bumalik din sa paglalakad. "He's having a family meeting."

I scoffed. Those things still exist?

"Why?"

"They found out..." mahinang sagot niya.
