Ignore the mistakes

"Tae!" Jeongguk calls as he looks around their apartment. They had just woken up, bright and early.

It was odd waking up without Taehyung by his side so the first thing that came to Jeongguk's head was looking for his mate so he could get his morning love.

When they woke up, all they did was cuddle until they felt the need to freshen up and eat.

He was a little sad not to see his mates face after opening his eyes.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was in the fridge, looking for something to crave.

A jar of pickles really stuck out to him. He grabbed the jar, closing the fridge and trying his best to open the jar.

The Omega was doing all of this without hearing his mate yelling his name. Taehyung grunts, sighing at how tight the jar was.

He gave up.

Jeongguk sniffs the air deeply, trying to find Taehyung's sweet scent. He followed it and it led him into the kitchen where he sees his mate glaring at the pickle jar.

"Baby?"

"Goodness, Jeongguk!" Taehyung shouts.

"You just had to close this tight!" Taehyung points at the jar, looking at Jeongguk with a crazy look in his eyes.

Jeongguk slightly laughs at his frustrated mate, "let me help you."

"Yeah, go ahead and open it. You did this after all." Taehyung crosses his arms with a scowl on his face.

Jeongguk easily pops the top off, turning around and smiling at Taehyung.

Taehyung lightly hits on Jeongguk's bicep, "you damn alphas." Taehyung mumbled.

Jeongguk bust out laughing. He couldn't help it. His mate is just so adorable.

He watched as Taehyung ate a pickle with big eyes as Jeongguk tries to get over his laughter.

"Love, you're something else." Jeongguk says, back hugging the Omega. Taehyung ignores him, too focused on eating his pickles.

"I wanted to see your face this morning." Jeongguk teases, a pout on his face.

"Too bad, I was hungry."

Jeongguk was not expecting that sassy reply from Taehyung. Taehyung was sassy but not this sassy.

It might just be the pregnancy hormones....

Jeongguk shook his head, "I love you." He said. Taehyung giggles.

"I love you infinity."

Jeongguk turns Taehyung around and starts pecking all over his face. Taehyung keeps giggling, holding Jeongguk's arm.

Jeongguk just couldn't get enough of his adorable mate. Jeongguk just wanted to squish his face and keep him and his pocket.

They stand there, holding each other in their arms.

Everything felt so perfect. It was like they never were in that palace, going through something that nobody would want to go through.

It felt good to finally be alone with the one you love and forget about royal life. Taehyung is happy and he wanted to stay like that.

Happy.
