"Rule the kingdom with me." Was the first thing Sung-dae said once Youngho sat down beside him on the cherry blossomed covered ground, their backs on the tree trunks.

Youngho chokes on his spit, turning to Sung-dae with shocked eyes, "s-sung-dae, I don't kno–"

"I'm sorry." Sung-dae apologized.

"I just–"

"No, dae. There's no need to be sorry. I'm just shocked." Youngho looks down at his hands, the beta's fingers fidgeting together.

"Am I fit for– I'm not fit for that, Sung-dae." Youngho says, his voice trailing with sadness.

Of course....Sung-dae has always knew how Youngho didn't really like the royal world. He wasn't even part of it before which is one of the reasons why it was hard for them to stay with each other for years.

Sung-dae wants to rule with his mate but their differences gets in the way of that.

Sung-dae is sure that Youngho would be a great ruler but Youngho thinks that he's not fit for that.

"Youngie, how about I take Gi-Han back to her parents and I could rule but you'll help me out with the kingdom–"

"On the low? Is that what you're trying to say? If it's on the low then it's fine with me. I'm not really a public person, Dae." Youngho looks up at the king, hoping that he was right about the words his mate was about to say.

Sung-dae nods, "Are you sure you're fine with that?"

Youngho chuckles, "I'm completely fine with that but, Jeongyeon." Youngho reminds Sung-dae.

"What? I didn't forget about your daughter. She'll be a great princess to our kingdom as long as she's fine with being one." Sung-dae assures.

"I'll talk to her and we'll see about it." Youngho grins. Sung-dae hums, pulling Youngho close to him, wanting to cuddle him.

Youngho blushes, "we're too old for this."

"Being in our forties is not old. We're young forever." Sung-dae said. Youngho could only smile at his silly mate.

The last month of spending time together really patched up their bond little by little. This moment already had them feeling a pull with a much stronger feeling then before.

They were at peace, finally relaxed. They needed to get the royal talk out the way and just lay down on the cherry blossomed ground, letting the air breeze on them.

This is something the mates has longed for.

Their peace, love, and connection.

Youngho knocks on Jeongyeon's door, Sung-dae standing beside him with his hands in his pocket.

Jeongyeon opens the door, looking up at the two males that was at her door, "is everything okay?" She asked with an raised eyebrow.

"Yes, we just need to talk to you about something important." Youngho said.

Jeongyeon opens her door wider, letting the mates in. She closes the door, letting them sit on her bed while she sits on her chair by her desk.

"So, what's the important talk?"

"Do you....want to be the princess of this kingdom?" Youngho asked, his heart beating fast. Jeongyeon breath hitches, looking at both of them like she seen a ghost.

She opens her mouth but no words comes out. She was speechless.

She wasn't expecting this to be asked to her. Of course she would love to be a princess but she was scared, scared on how that life would be.

"I–"

"I'll think about it. Just–Just give me time." She whispers.

"If you don't mind me asking, what're the plans as of now, for the kingdom?"

Sung-dae smiles, "I'm sending Gi-Han back to her family then Youngho is going to be the second king of this kingdom on the down low. That was your Papa's wishes, to be on the low."

Youngho nods his head. Jeongyeon also smiles, taking in the information.

"This is crazy. Never in my life have I thought about being in the royal life."

"Well, now you're going to think about it, Yeon." Youngho gets up from the bed, walking over to his daughter and kissing her cheek.

"My baby is growing up!"

"Papa, stop." Jeongyeon whines. Sung-dae grins at the family, regret seeping in his skin.

He wishes he would have been a great father to Taehyung. He missed half of his childhood and now he wants to make up for it.

"Sung-dae, when am I going to meet Taehyung?" Jeongyeon asked, getting Sung-dae out of his mind.

"You'll meet him soon, Jeongyeon. And he'll love and treat you as his sister." Sung-dae said.

Taehyung has always wanted a sibling and now, his dream is coming true.
