My head felt like it was pounding and the room would not stay still, I groaned as I put my hand on my head and sat up. From closer examination I learned that I was still sitting on the table where Niklaus used me until I passed out. The gentleman himself was sitting in his chair at the table, his head in his arm as he rested them both on the table beside me. I stared at him for a moment before I decided to hop down and get into bed because despite having just slept I was quite tired.

I made my way to the bed and stopped just shy of it, I didn't want to sleep, not without Niklaus at least. I went back to the table and tapped on his shoulder causing him to jump to life and grab my wrist. His eyes were hard and dangerous but as his mind registered who I was he softened, his eyes revealing a sign of relief and his hand releasing my wrist to grab the back of my neck and pull me into his embrace. I was stunned as his arm wrapped around me and held on tightly as his other held just as tight onto the back of my neck as if I'd slip away.

"I'm so sorry Beasty." Niklaus mumbled into my hair, sending yet another wave of shoke through me, I didn't know how to react so I just stood there with my arms at my side and my body stiff as he held onto me like he would lose me soon.

We stood there for some time until Niklaus let go and stepped back, "Ready for bed?" He asked as he gestured towards the bed, I smiled and just nodded, he was acting strange for some reason and while I was happy for his embrace, it was almost sorrowful and that made me wonder why he, the man who would rather have killed me, be sad about something. What was he apologizing for, what had he done?

He got into bed first and held out his arm waiting for me to get in, I took the invitation with more excitement than I should admit. I curled against his body and rested my head on his chest, his arm wrapping around to pull me tightly against him was what completed our position and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

---------------------------

I have no idea where I am, the last thing I remembered was falling asleep in Niklaus' arms but now I'm standing in the most beautiful meadow, with the most vibrant wildflowers I have seen and the purest river flowing through the center, there were even a few butterflies fluttering from flower to flower. The only thing that seemed strange was that I was not alone, there was a beautiful red haired woman standing beside the river, her hand was extended towards me, inviting me to her. I followed her invitation until we were standing a few feet apart beside the river, my focus was more on the water and the beautiful and vibrant fish swimming within it, it wasn't until the woman placed her hand on my shoulder that I finally focused on her.

"Seraphina, it's so nice to finally meet you." The woman spoke with such an angelic and pure voice, as if she had not the slightest bit of worry or stress in the world.

I couldn't help it as my brow furrowed in confusion at the woman who spoke as if she knew me.
"Do I know you?" I asked her.

She smiled such a beautiful smile, it was almost unnatural. "No my dear, but I know all about you. I've been watching you for some time now and I'm here to help you get home."

I took a step back to get out of her grasp as I realized what she meant. "What are you talking about? I am home."

The woman shook her head. "My poor confused child, you are not home, not with that demon, he will do nothing but taint your skin and steal your grace."

The woman took a step closer to close the gap I created, she took my hand in hers ever so gently and with her ocean blue eyes she stared at me. She looked as if she were looking beyond my eyes and deeper within. After what felt like an eternity her eyes focused on just me and the expression was one of slight disgust as she released my hand and wiped it on the bottom of her dress as if I were filthy while stepping several feet away.
