I stood by the large wooden doors of the house, anxiously waiting for Niklaus to emerge from his bedroom. I couldn't help but peer out the window by the door and look into the night, it's been a week since the incident in the garden and I've been silently missing the outdoors and the fresh air.

The scrapping of the wall being pushed open drew my attention and my excitement grew when I seen Niklaus emerge but I didn't move, I waited patiently beside the door and watched in anticipation as he made his way to me.

"Can we go now?" I asked, and as his lips curled into smile I could tell just how childish I sounded as I asked that question.

Niklaus shook his head. "Not yet, we're waiting on just one more person." He said as he looked around the foyer. "Ah, here she is." He nodded his head to something behind me and when I turned to see who it was exactly I was quite surprised.

It was a woman, an almost unnaturally beautiful woman that could turn heads from her face alone but what would catch more of a persons attention would be her clothing choice. While I wore athletic pants and a long sleeve cropped shirt, and Niklaus wore the usual business formal, she had a very different type of style; a black lace teddy bodysuit that left nothing to the imagination and black heels. She was the image of sex with long wavy hair to complete the outfit.

"I'm ready Sir." She purred as she ran her finger across Niklaus' chest. I could only watch as she turned and ran her fingers through my hair. "So you're the one who's gotten my master all worked up?" She falsely pouted as she walked around and examined me before moving to stand beside Niklaus.

"She isn't at all what I expected Sir. You were so worked up I thought she'd be--better." She huffed to Niklaus who only smiled and ran his hand across her back. He looked from the woman to me almost as if he too were studying me. "She's perfect." he hummed.
I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment, never have I been called perfect, flawed and broken but never perfect.

Niklaus looked down to the woman and his smile fell and he lost the smooth and gentle tone in his voice. "Go change, you will not dress that way beyond these walls." He told the woman. When he spoke her eyes fell in search of the floor while nodding, "Yes master." She said before quickly walking away. I waited for the echo of her fleeing heels to stop ringing through the halls before taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm my racing heart and further prepare myself for the creeping truth.

"Are you okay Beasty?" Niklaus asked.

I fumbled with the hem of my shirt as I shook my head.
His hand gently cupped my cheek to bring my eyes to his, "What has you troubled?"

I closed my eyes for only a moment to prepare myself but that was not what he wanted, he wanted an answer and made it clear that he wanted it now as his hand ran behind my neck and squeezed tightly.

"I don't want her to come, do we have to take her?" I mumbled. His grip on my neck loosened and his smile softened, "Yes, Beasty, taking you beyond these walls is risky and I can not protect you if I'm worried you will get hurt." He said.

I could feel it, something deep within stirred but I shook my head to chase it away. "But I don't like her." I pouted. Niklaus' hand retreated from me and into his pocket as he stepped back and frowned ever so slightly. "I care about keeping you safe beyond these walls, not about who you like. Mirabel is lovely, get to know her before you make a decision."

Before I could respond she returned, Mirabel returned more appropriately dressed. She dressed like Niklaus, business formal with a red blouse and her hair neatly done into a bun.

"Much better Mirabel." Niklaus said. Mirabel's cheeks became a rosy red, "Thank you Sir." She replied. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as that feeling returned for only a second, feeling slightly stronger before retreating back into the depths.
