Carlisle stood silent as Jasper expressed his concerns to him about Alice and the missing perfume.
"It's not true..." Sighed Edward, shaking his head.
"Alice isn't a theif. Don't blame her because you can't keep track of your things." He hissed, making eye contact with you before leaving the room, visibly irritated at Jasper's accusations.
You shook your head before resting it in your hands, then running your fingers back into your hair.
You can sense the tension rolling off of Jasper as he aggressively moves toward the door, refusing to let his brother disrespect you that way. You grab his arm, and pull him back.
"Don't, Jasper... it's alright." you whisper
You can feel his arm relax in your grip, as he maneuvers it around you, holding you close to him.
"I can't think of any reason why she would take it. Let's not jump to conclusions." said Carlisle, calmly.
"She's planning something Carlisle, I know it."
"What proof do you have? One missing bottle? There's no reason to believe that Alice is planning anything other than what she claimed when she left here.
There's no need to worry until we have a reason to worry." He said, calmly.
Jasper hesitated, but eventually nodded in agreement with his father.
Carlisle places his hand comfortingly on Jasper's shoulder and made eye contact with him.
"Even if something were to happen, Nolana is family now, we will protect her no matter what."
Hearing that put your mind at ease, even if Edward didn't think much of you, at least you knew that Carlisle was on your side.
"You're right, we'll worry when it's time to worry." Smiled Jasper, halfheartedly.
"There's one more thing I want to discuss with you."
"What's that?" Asked Carlisle.
"I want to build a home for Nolana and I."
A knowing smile crept across Carlisle's face, as an amused chuckle escaped his lips.
"I was wondering when that would come up."

You were still getting used to the fact that money was never an issue with the Cullen's.
The next morning, Jasper, Carlisle, and Emmett headed out to collect everything they would need to construct the house you would hopefully live out the rest of eternity with the man you love. Jasper wanted everything to be perfect for you, he promised to build it exactly how you want.
"It's not my house darling, it's ours. The only preference I have is for it to be an 'A' framed cabin with a loft bedroom for us. Anything else is completely your call."
He scoffed in amusement, and kissed your forehead.
"Since I'm in charge of the layout, you're in charge of the interior. 50/50. Here."
He said, handing you a gold credit card
"You, Esme, and Rosalie go and find us some beautiful things to fill the nest with." He smiled as he kissed your nose and then deeply on the lips. He radiates with excitement, he mentioned how controlling Alice was during their relationship, but this experience is making you realize that he never got to have anything his way. You both decided to build your home deeper into the woods, close by the stream where you made love to each other.
He was practically beaming as he ran back to Carlisle and Emmett, even Edward joined in on the project. Not far from Edward, you saw Bella sitting on a rock, watching the boys as they worked.
"Bella!!" You called out.
She turned her head toward you, seeming almost startled, as she tucks a lock of hair behind her ear.
"Do you wanna come?!" You smiled, waving in her direction.
She hesitated at first, but smiled and nodded before standing up and walking toward you.
You noticed Jasper and Rosalie talking to each other, but couldn't make out what they were saying. They glanced at you, Rosalie's expression seemed absolutely giddy. You could read her lips as she said
"Leave it to me!"
