Rosalie stumbles out of the cabin, cradling the small child in her arms.
"Carlisle!" She yells, clutching her still damaged throat.
"Rosalie!" Gasps Esme, running to her with Carlisle close behind.
Carlisle took the baby immediately and unwrapped the blanket around it.
"She threw her...Alice, she..." choked Rosalie.
"She seems to be alright...." sighed Carlisle, as he admired his new granddaughter.
"What about you? Are you alright?"
"She attacked me! She ripped my head off!" She cried, still in disbelief.
"She's going to kill her Carlisle..."

The stench of scorched wood irritated your nostrils as Alice struggled to drag you along the Forrest floor. Your broken leg healed in a crippling position, preventing you from walking, correctly.
Even though she was inconvenienced by your injury, she moved through the trees very quickly.
You began to see the smoke rise above the canopy, knowing instantly what she was planning. 'Atleast my daughter will have a chance to live...' you thought to yourself as she threw you down in front of a large bonfire.
You sat up in the damp leaves, refusing to let her see your fear.
You stared into her cold black eyes, unphased. As long as Jasper and your child were safe, it didn't matter to you if you died.
"Do you really think he could love you after all you've done?" You hissed.
"Do you really think this is the way to win him back!?"
Alice brought her hand against your face, slapping you hard enough to jar your teeth.
"You don't know anything about us!" She hissed. Throwing more wood onto the fire.
"If you're going to kill me, then do it." You growled, spitting angrily at her shoe. The cold steel toe of her boot connected with your chin, breaking several teeth in the process.
"Shut up!" She yelled.
You spat fragments of your teeth into the wet earth and smiled at her, defiantly.
"I've waited a long time to get to you...and I'm going to enjoy every single second of it." She smiles, getting close to your face.
"You really needed to be in that psych ward...didn't you sweetie?" You smirked.
That must've gotten under her skin, because she immediately moved behind you and placed her foot on your back. She pulled your arm behind you, and began to pull, slowly, making sure you feel every rip and tear. You begin to laugh, pretending that you didn't feel any pain.
You could feel your bones begin to crack and your flesh begin to tear. Your frantic laughter morphed into agonizing screams.
Once your arm had disconnected with you entirely, you could hear the flames as they engulfed your limb, behind you.
"You are nothing...You'll die as nothing..." she said, coldly.
"I have my daughter....and the love of my husband...they seem to think I'm something....something pretty damn great." You smiled, weakly.
"He'll never love you, Alice...not as much as he loves me...Has Always loved me."
"This ends now..." she said, wrapping her hands around your head.
"I'M SICK OF YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!!!"

———-

Jasper followed the scent to a clearing toward the mountain. His pace quickened when he realized the scent began to tangle with the smell of smoke and scorched vampire flesh.
"Oh god...please, no..." he whispered, praying that he wasn't too late.
He came to a large bonfire, where the trail came to an end. He looked around, fearfully, but saw nobody, heard nothing, but the roar of the fire.
"Nolana!" He called, feeling the panic rise in his chest.
"I'm sorry my love..." Said a familiar voice in a sing song tone.
He turned around to see Alice gliding from behind the tree's.
"Alice! Where is she!?! Where's Nolana!!!" He yelled, storming up to her and shaking her shoulders aggressively.
"I'm sorry, baby...but...I'm afraid you just missed her." She smiled, looking over his shoulder toward the raging fire behind him.
Jasper's heart sank. No...She couldn't be...Alice isn't capable of something like this. This isn't real... he slowly turned toward the fire and made his way to the flickering flames. In the embers, he saw a glimmering gold band with sapphires and a diamond in the middle...Nolana's engagement ring. Overcome with shock he sunk to his knees and plucked the little trinket from the ashes. Deep sorrowful wails began to erupt from deep within his chest. His whole body began to shake as he extended his hands toward the still burning ashes. He was too late. He couldn't save her...
He felt like his entire being was coming apart, deep violent sobs heaved within his chest. Alice knelt down beside her distraught object of affection. She rubbed his back gently, trying to calm him down.
"Shhhh shhhh. Everything is ok now, sweetheart. Everything can just go back to how it was before. Don't be upset. It's all over now." She sighed, contently, as she laid her head tenderly on his shoulder. In his state of shock, he struggled to comprehend what she was implying.
"W-What?" He asked, shoving her away from him and standing abruptly.
"Alice...I..."
"It's ok, baby...really. I forgive you for your little phase. I'm not mad. I promise." She smiled, slightly tilting her head to the side.
"Alice! Things can't go back the way they were! I'm done with you!!!" His shock gradually turned into outrage. She can't be serious!
"No, it's ok! I took care of it. Now we can go to Italy and put all this behind us. A fresh start is all we need." She chuckled nervously. She walked up to him and placed her hands lovingly on his chest.
"I've missed you so much." She sighed, standing on her tip toes to kiss him.
Jasper shoved her into the mud, violently.
"YOU'RE NOT LISTENING, ALICE! I DON'T LOVE YOU! I LOVE NOLANA!!! MY WIFE! what have you done?!? She-She's.." he knelt down by the fire again, beating his fist against the ground as he sobbed.
"I WOULD RATHER DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS THAN BE YOUR MATE!!!" He screamed. He slowly turned to her and looked her dead in the eyes.
"I Hate you, Alice...." he cried, bitterly.
Alice's eyes began to well up with tears, as she took a step back.
"I hate you..." he repeated, as he rose to his feet.
"N-no....please..." she whimpered.
Jasper lunged at her, wrapping his hands around her delicate, throat.
"I hate you....I hate you!" He repeated, while his fingers continued to tighten.
"Jasper...please" she choked, gradually feeling her life fade away.
Suddenly, Jasper's body began to convulse, making him release Alice from his grasp.
His knees buckled beneath him as he hit the ground, still convulsing.
"You really are a mess..." said Jane, calmly making her way toward Alice.
"Jane?...Alec?... wha-"
"You really think we're stupid, don't you?" She asked, flatly.
"Finish it Alec. I'm ready to go home..."
