Chaeyoung's POV

Just an hour and a half ago, I woke up from my annoying alarm. I prepped myself and went out of the house as early as possible since my brother had a sleepover at his friend's last night.

Today, I decided to eat at my mom's restaurant first before going to classes. It's been a while since I have last visited the place, I kinda miss it there.

I'm currently here in my car, driving towards the restaurant. Loving Is Easy by Rex Orange County is blasting on the speakers of my Range Rover. I started singing along to it.

Loving is easy,

You had me fucked up

It used to be so hard to see

Yeah, loving is easy,

When everything's perfect

Please don't change a single little thing for me

I take glances outside my window, enjoying the view. I raised my sunglasses over my head to see everything better.

Wait, is that Mina?

A little penguin skipping on the sidewalk going to school.

Can she be any cuter?

I lowered down the volume and pulled over beside her. She looked to my direction and a confused look is visible on her face. I rolled my windows down and her expression changed to a surprised one.

"Hey, need a ride?" I laid my arm on the window.

"I'm fine, Chaeng" She continued walking, but more slowly since we're still talking.

"You'd get tired by the time you'll reach the school. I'll treat you to breakfast." I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

"Fine, just stop being annoying." She teased and rolled her eyes playfully as she stopped in her tracks, my car following after.

I got out of my car to assist her upon entering my car. I stood in front of her and raised my arm.

"May I?" I asked her.

"May you what?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Your bag, miss." I playfully bowed my head.

"Here you go, slave." She teased.

I just rolled my eyes and took her bag. I walked to the backseat and put it in there beside my bag. I went back to her and raised my arm again.

"What now, cub?" She huffed.

"I'll escort you to your seat." I smiled at her. She put her hand over mine and we walked to the passenger seat. She got in and I closed the door afterwards. I also got in my seat and checked the time. 30 minutes left 'till classes.

"Why are you acting weird since yesterday?" She asked me as I increased the volume of the speakers. I put my sunglasses back on my face and smiled at her. I just decided to sing the next lyrics to the song to her while keeping my eyes on the road as I started driving.

I was all on my own,

Almost glad to be alone

Until love came in on time, on time

"What song is this?" She asked me.

"Loving is Easy. One of my favorite songs." I looked at her and gave her a smile.

"It's nice." She smiled back at me. I put my eyes back on the road and saw that it's a red on a stoplight. I gently stepped on the brakes and checked my phone for messages.

"We should've taken a right turn in the previous street. Where are we going?" She panicked. I put down my phone since the stop light turned green and stepped on the acceleration.

"Calm down penguin, I'm gonna treat you breakfast, right?" I giggled at her.

"Just make sure we'll be on time for our classes" She said.

"Don't worry, we'll be quick." I quickly glanced at her and smiled. I put my eyes back on the road as I took a left turn. "And, we're almost there." I added.

"Okay cubby" She giggled.

"What a nickname" I laughed at her, and saw that we've arrived at the restaurant. "Welcome to the best restaurant ever."

I parked the car and stepped out of the car. I quikckly jogged to her side and opened the door for her. She stepped out and ruffled my hair. I locked the car and we both walked to the restaurant and entered.
