Unexpectedly

Chapter Thirty-Four

Chaeyoung's POV

Mina is a beast. With her soft face, gentle voice, and elegant actions, you really wouldn't really expect for her to be a pro gamer.

We have been playing for two hours now, and the both of us are already exhausted from playing multiple games, so we're now heading out.

"Oh! There's a photo booth right there. C'mon." Mina pulled me towards the photo booth as we sat and settled ourselves.

"How many pictures do you want? 2, 4, or 6?" She tapped on the screen.

"4." I looked at her as she continued tapping with an excited expression on her face. Cute. "Get ready, it'll start in a few seconds." She squealed and hurriedly fixed her hair. I just brushed my hair once with my fingers. She faced me and fixed my hair a bit more. I smiled at her and poked her nose, her nose scrunching in process.

We both looked at the camera as soon as we heard the signal.

For the first shot, I just kept a straight face as Mina did a peace sign.

3..2..1..Click!

For the second shot, we both stuck our tongue out at the camera.

3..2..1..Click!

For the third shot, I put an arm around Mina and smiled as she poked her forefinger onto my dimple.

3..2..1..Click!

For the last shot, Mina did something unexpectedly. She kissed my cheek as I blushed with my cheeks reddening.

"Ha! Gotcha." She pointed at me and giggled. I just rolled my eyes playfully at her.

"Yeah, you did get me. You also got my heart pounding for you." I winked at her.

"Gosh, you're so cheesy." She stood up and we both went out of the photobooth, laughing. We both waited where the pictures will be taken out, and not soon enough, 2 copies of our four-pic collage came out. She took the both of them and looked at the pictures closely. She suddenly laughed and scooted closer to me.

"Omygosh, look at your face at the last pic."  She stiffled her laughter and pointed at the picture. I leaned in and took a closer look. Oh shit, I look like a tomato.

"I'm so embarassed right now." I covered my face with my hands and groaned.

"No cubby, you actually look cute! Considering that I have an effect on you." Mina removed my hands and intertwined the other one with hers.

"You're the only one who has this effect on me." I rolled my eyes as she gave me the other copy of our pic.

"Good." She raised on her tiptoes and kissed me on the cheek again. I'm pretty sure I'm red as a tomato again right now. "C'mon, let's go." She giggled as she pulled me towards the exit of the place.

Gosh, Mina. What are you doing to me?

Mina's POV

Since we're now on our way back to our street, I guess we'll call it a night. From afar, I can already see my house.

"I know that we'll part ways in a while, and I just want to say thank you." I looked at our hands and smiled.

Chaeyoung broke out in laughter. Why the hell is she laughing?

"Uhm, did I say something funny?" I tilted my head to the side as Chaeyoung glanced at me after laughing loud.

"We won't part ways yet, princess." She winked at me as she diverted her eyes back on the road. What did she mean by that?

"What do you mean?" I asked her.
