Mina's POV

"Oh my God Chaeyoung!" A lady approached Chaeyoung and hugged her. I think she's in her late thirties. She's wearing what the waitresses are wearing too. Who is she?

"Good morning, Linda. How are you?" Chaeyoung kissed her cheek and pulled away. Oh, so her name is Linda.

"Oh, I've never been better, like the business. It's been a month since you've last visited us, it's good to see you again." Linda exclaimed. Maybe she owns this restaurant.

"Yeah, I've been busy with school." Chaeyoung looked at me and put an arm around my shoulder. "By the way, this right here is my friend, Mina." She added.

"Hi dear, I'm Linda. A close friend of the Son family. You can call me Linda, but this little tiger right here sometimes call me momma, and you can call me either of the two." Linda surprised me with a hug.

"Nice to meet you, Linda." I giggled and hugged her back. We both pulled away after a while.

"Come on in and take a seat, I'll serve you guys some food." She placed herself in between Chaeyoung and I, tugging us. We sat on our seats and looked at the menu.

"She's beautiful." She attempted to whisper to Chaeng, but it was loud enough for me to hear. Chaeyoung hushed her while I pretended to hear nothing while scanning the menu. I can literally feel their gazes on me.

"So uhm, what will you both have?" Linda asked as I closed the menu.

"I'll have blueberry pancakes." I told her.

"I'll have the usual." Chaeyoung said while closing the menu.

"Okie dokie" Linda said as she took the menu and walked away.

"So, how does the place look?" Chaeyoung asked me with a smile.

"It looks great, especially those paintings in that wall" I pointed to the wall behind her. I looked back into her eyes and now her smile is even bigger.

"I painted those." She exclaimed. My eyes widened. I didn't expect that.

"Woah, really?" I asked in amazement.

"Yup!" She proudly nodded.

"Damn, cubby. You really are something." I patted her hair.

"No. You" She poked my nose, "Really are something." She continued her sentence. I waved her off and laughed.

"I didn't know you could paint this good." I teased.

"Hey, don't underestimate this little tiger!" She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes at me. I just laughed at her behavior.

"I'm just kidding, kiddo" I pinched her cheeks. She just whined and removed my hands.

After a while, we saw Linda heading our towards our table with our food.

"Blueberry pancakes" She placed the pancakes in front of me. Oh my gosh it looks so good!

"And the usual, Bacon and Eggs" She placed Chaeng's food in front of her.

But, she placed another bowl in front of us.

"I made you guys a salad too. It's a new one on the menu!" She winked.

"Thank you, momma" Chaeyoung gave her a smile.

I took a bite of my pancakes.

"It's so damn good" I sighed. "Thank you, Linda" I smiled at her.

"Aish, no problem. The recipes that are used in this place are the best ones in town!" Linda chuckled. "Hang on. I'll fetch you guys some water." She added and walked away again.
