He left, I heard that click sound of the door and I exhaled the breath. I didn’t even know I was holding it.
" Sorry for the disturbance," Mr. Nicole apologized.
" That’s fine Mr. Nicole's" I am actually surprised with my own voice.
" As I have said already, You are here as my project head. am I correct? " He asked with skepticism in his voice.
I took a deep breath, I know I could do this " Yes" I said with finality.
" Wow, quite surprising for me," He said sarcastically. I want to roll my eyes but I would not do that.
" If you want me to sign any kind of agreement or NDA I am ready," I said instead, He has to understand that I’m being serious here.
" Oh I know you are dear, and I know how you are. Don't worry about the paperwork go home and rest for the weekend. We will start our work from Monday for which, I am looking forward to" He declared.
No paperwork!! It’s quite surprising and unacceptable for me.
" Okay," I said and stood up to leave.
"And yes! don't think about going back on your decision. It’s really important to me," He said with pleading eyes.
I can't help but laugh, he can't even trust me which is logical. I used to always get those things from people.
" Don't worry I won't, It’s a promise and you know I keep it, at least" I said with humour.
" Well I know that; and I must say please enjoy yourself and go to some party," He said and laugh.
I rolled my eyes, said goodbye to him, and headed to the exit door.
