I am walking on the streets where I don't know anybody. I wish I could have just accepted the drive and it would take me home but then I always belong to myself a new place and people that are what I always wanted to be but never accepted, and Mr. Siraj knows it...That is what I am!
I was walking blankly and suddenly someone grabbed my upper arm. I flinched.
"What the hell?" I yelled and turn around.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, Why did you refuse to take a drive? " Ethan asked me with worry in his voice. I didn’t expect him to be here.
I regretted at my voice and reminding myself not to look up at him neither in his eyes.
" I..um..., I stammer, damn my voice is choking.. “Well, I always prefer walking," I said finally.
"It’s a new city for you and you don't even know how much it’s safer for you? don't walk alone on the streets" I can feel the authority in his voice. Has he lost his mind?
"Yeah thank you" I have to go from here right now.
I can’t break in front of him, It’s so difficult having him around.
I started walking again as fast as I could..
" Ishita....He yelled from somewhere behind.
"Ishita why don't you listen to me?" He came beside me.
“What is your problem? Just leave me alone on my way" I snapped on him and walked away.
I didn’t even know if I was running or walking until I reached in front of my apartment building.
