Walking up the drive, I look around me in amazement. From literally just walking up from the car to the front steps, I had already seen a massive pool, a dark room that looked like a cinema and enough cars to fill a shop. Reaching the front doors, I squared my shoulders. You can do this, I repeated like a mantra in my head. Wyatt opened the doors and for a second all I could see was his back. He then stepped back and I was greeted by the sight of 4 boys. For a moment we just stared at each other, completely absorbed in just taking each other in. The next second, I was swept into a bone-crushing hug.

Resisting the urge to push the person off me due to sudden and extremely painful pressure on my ribs, I simply stayed put, my arms pressed uncomfortably to my sides and my feet dangling of the floor. After what seemed like forever, the person holding me finally put me down.

Grimacing slightly from my ribs, I glared up at him. And then blinked. And blinked again. The person I was staring up at was me- but a boy version. Holy shit, I had a twin?!

Still staring, mouth agape, with my maybe-but-pretty-sure-was twin grinning stupidly down at me, Wyatt cleared his throat slightly before speaking.

'Right so this is Jordan- your twin' I nodded slightly, still a bit shocked and tore my gaze from Jordan to the other boys who were still standing at the steps of a massive staircase. Wyatt continued, pointing now to the boy on the far left with glasses and a small smile on his face, 'That's Aaron, he's 23 and just finishing a course in medicine and next to him is Jared, he's 16 and so will also be attending school with you and Jordan.'

I looked at the boy Wyatt had pointed out as Jared. To be honest, he looked like a typical playboy- I mean all my brothers did but Jared really had the whole tattooed, mysterious vibe going for him. He, unlike Jordan and Aaron was not smiling and instead had a blank face on that was creepily intense. His stare alone made me feel like I was being examined and pieced apart. Shivering a bit, I focused my attention on the last one standing who Wyatt then introduced as Dylan who was 18. He too had many tattoos and had a slight smirk plastered on his face- I had a feeling that he wore that stupid smirk as a part of his resting face.

Not really knowing what to do, I looked towards Wyatt only to see that he was already staring at me, an expectant look on his face. Huh? It was then that I realised everyone was waiting for me to introduce myself. Ugh, I mentally slapped myself, way to make an impression Alyssa.

'Hi, I'm Alyssa,' I said the words rushing together as I tried to speak too quickly in an effort to stop the silence. The one with glasses, Aaron I'm pretty sure his name was, spoke softly, 'Nice to meet you Alyssa,'. Jordan just kept up with his grinning and staring at me, Jared nodded and Dylan announced a sudden, 'Well, I'm off' before striding out the door. My shoes suddenly became extremely interesting to look at.

I heard a sigh from Wyatt before I felt his hands grip my face yet again. I would have to ask him to stop doing that. 'Jordan's going to take you to your room now yeah? If you need anything I'll be in my office'. I nodded, just wanting to escape at this point. Wyatt's eyes seemed to have a way of looking straight through me, right to my soul- I desperately needed to work on my poker face.

With a last pointed look at the others, he too strode off, the others slowly trailing behind him, leaving me and Jordan alone.

'So,' I said cautiously. Oh god, why'd I say that? I just made it 10x more awkward. What was it about these boys that turned me into a stuttering mess? Thankfully, he laughed it off, slinging an arm around my shoulders enthusiastically while simultaneously dragging me upstairs. 'Come on your rooms by mine,' he said while glancing down at me. I just nodded again, not trusting myself to speak in case I said something stupid. Reaching the top of the staircase, we walked past 3 more doors before reaching one of the last in the corridor. Jordan's arm still around me, he pushed the door open and pulled me through.

My eyes widened- my room was gorgeous. With a giant double bed in the middle, blankets and cushions bundled on top of it, a desk in one corner and what looked like an ensuite and walk in wardrobe connected, I immediately fell in love with it.

At loss for words, I simply turned to Jordan and choked out a thank you.

'You like it then?' He smiled. Still having lost the ability to speak, I stuck with nodding quickly.

He chuckled again, 'Well, I'll leave it to you then.'

As soon as he left, I sunk onto my bed, thoughts overwhelming me. How could I ever adapt to this lifestyle? It was crazy- the money, my five brothers, just everything. Why would they even give this room to me? Let alone a bed, a bathroom and a wardrobe where my clothes barely even filled a corner of it. My whole life I had been told I was nothing and deserved nothing. How could my brothers see me any differently?

Suddenly exhausted, I allowed myself to snuggle deeper into my bed, the warmth and blankets cocooning me soon sending me into a deep sleep.
