Darcy's POV

I turned the phone off, my life had just crumbled. She's dead. Gone. Out of my life forever. But how? She promised she'd come back. I heard my Dads light sobs from downstairs. Please tell me this is a joke, or a nightmare. I felt a huge urge to cry but, no tears came. I just stared at the wall with an awful feeling on my chest. I felt empty, but yet restless at the same time. I sat on the floor in a ball in the corner of my room, I still wasn't crying, but I was making a whimpering noise.

"Darcy!" Dad called, I slowly looked up from the floor. Did I fall asleep.

(A/n RIGHT NOW THE RADIO WAS TALKING ABOUT LARRY OMG IM DYING! K carry on :)

"Y-yeah Dad?" I asked, I already know what he's going to tell me.

"Can you come here please?" He asked. I got up, walked out of my room, and down the stairs. I swear I look like garbage right now.

"Theres something I need to tell you, but it is really big news. Are you strong enough to hear it? It's sad though." Dad informed me, his voice was very raspy. His eyes were very red and his hair looked like a nest. To be honest I think that's what I look like.

"Dad, I already know..." I whispered.

"I'm positive you don't, I just found out." Dad told me.

"Dad, I know what you're going to tell me. I can say it myself to prove it." I protested.

"Then say it." He commanded.

"Mum is dead!" I spat, the same feeling came back. I exhaled, I can't cry I front of him. I'm his 'strong' daughter. Tension filled the air.

"The funeral is next Wednesday, we are leaving to go to America tomorrow." He informed me then left the room. Dad came back with his car keys.

"Where are you going?" I asked with a little sass.

"The bar." He simply answered.

"No! You can't go, I won't let you!" I cried, I'm not having a hungover Dad drive me 2 hours to an airport then take a plane with him. He'd feel like crap.

"Why not?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.

"You are going to get drunk, then try to drive home. You will probably kill yourself, I can't lose another parent." I explained.

"I'm just going for a bit." Dad spat and walked outside. I growled and rolled my eyes. I understand he's having a rough time but... He can't drink away his problems. He has a family to take cafe of, a family of 18 almost 19 that loves him. I just realized how big of a family I have.

It has now been 2 hours since my Dad left. I don't know where anyone is. I picked up my phone and rung Uncle Louis.

"Hi Darcy!" Uncle Lou greeted.

"Hey Louis, um my Dad ran to the bar. He said he would be back in a hour. That was two hours ago. Could you please pick him up? I'll call him and ask him what bar he's at and text you." I explained.

"Sure, Darc. See you in a bit." I hung up and rung my Dad.

"Ha, Heyyy um, um, Dorey." You have got to be kidding me.

"Hey Dad, where are you?" I asked, I know he won't tell me.

"I am, I am at, I don't know. Uhhh but it smells funny and I made frienddssss." I swear to god if he hooks up with a stripper.
