Keenan dropped me off at the building my therapy session is taken place in and I have yet to even step foot into the door.

"Ti, your appointment starts in ten minutes and you've been outside for fifteen minutes .. what do you wanna do babe?" Keenan asked me.

He hasn't left the parking lot yet because he didn't see me go in.

I've been staring at the building for fifteen minutes because I'm scared , I don't know what to expect.

I thought I was ready for this but I'm not.

"I don't know" I told him, I heard him sigh and get out of his car.

He came over and stood next to me "well, I'll be here to either walk you inside of the building or back to the car whichever one you just let me know" he said to me.

I just nodded.

9 minutes till my appointment.

What am I even gonna say to her?
I don't want to fidget around too much either because I do that when I'm nervous and I would hate for her to think it's really something wrong with me ... even though technically it is.

8 minutes.

I sighed again "I'm gonna go in" I told him.

"Are you sure?"

I stopped and thought about it again.

You got this ! Don't chicken out !

We are trying to take steps in the right direction.

7 minutes.

"Yes I'm sure, you don't have to walk me in either .. I wanna be able to do it alone" I told him.

"Okay I'll respect your wishes" he gave me a hug and kissed my forehead "I love you".

"I love you too" I said and then he walked back to the car.

I finally stepped foot into the building and walked towards the elevator.

She's on the 6th floor room 605.

I took a few deep breaths as the elevator went up and then it dinged on her floor.

"Good Afternoon how may I help you?" The lady at the front desk asked.

"Hi, I have an appointment with Doctor Jordan" I told her.

"Yes are you Tiara Gold?" She asked

"Yes" I said "alright you can head back there now she's waiting"  the lady told me.

"Okay thank you" I said and then headed back to her office.

The door was already opened but I still knocked to get her attention.

She turned around and smiled at me "you must be Tiara Gold how are youuu! I am doctor Jordan" she came over to me and greeted me with a hug.

I never seen therapists do that in movies.

Her room was extremely colorful but in a comforting way, she had ocean sounds playing in the background very low with an incense burning this lavender smell. Her room was decorated with plants everywhere and she didn't have chairs she had bean bags , her tables had different types of crystals on them and honestly she was just a whole vibe. 

"It's nice to meet you also" I said back.

"I know I seem a little different from the normal type of therapist" she used with quoted fingers.
