Summer was coming to a close. Alina Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore were still missing. Or at least in the Mystic Falls crew minds, they were on the run together and ignoring everyone. But the truth was, they were both 'dead'. Stefan was drowning over and over again at the bottom of the quarry, and Alina was dessicated in the back of her SUV. The two had little hope to be found. Stefan's heart restarted, and he panicked, He thrashed around in the safe as he started to choke on the water again. While Alina laid silently.
But in the forest, someone was walking and had stumbled upon her car. The woman searched through the windows, seeing the body in the back. The woman got the back to open, pulling her out and she recognized her, but... she was dead. She knew exactly what she had to do. This girl she had found was a vampire.
