Chapter 11

•After graduation• (sorry I skipped most of the school year, I was kinda to lazy to write. Oops😬😂)

I finished putting boxes into my car. "Please visit soon," Sophia says hugging me crying. "I will. Remember I'll be back as soon as you know it," I say hugging her back as I tear up. "I going to miss you," Kash says almost crying. "Aww Kash dont cry," I say bending down to his size and hugging him. "I'll be back very soon okay," I pull away from him and wipe his tears. "Okay," he says smiling and hugging me tightly then letting go. "You're going to be a great college volleyball player," Nessa says hugging me. "Thank you, and I hope you fulfill your singing career Nes," I hugged her back. "I'll see you soon," Mads says knowing she'll be there soon. "Yep," I laugh. "Oh my little sister is going to college to continue her volleyball career," Tayler says hugging me. I hug him back and smile. "Good luck Hazel," Joey says hugging me slightly. "Thanks and you too," I say hugging him back. "Now for my little sister," I say extending my arms. She comes running into my. She started crying which made me cry. "Why do you have to leave now," she says balling. "I'm sorry love. I'll be back sooner you know," I cried. "Be good for Tayler please." "I will I promise," she hugs me super tight. "I'll miss you very much." "I'll miss you too," I kiss the top of her head letting go and wiping her tears away. I said my good byes to the rest.

I walked over to my car and open the door, taking one last look at everything for awhile. I get in my car and shut the door, and start the engine. I sigh to myself. I roll down my window and look at everyone. I wave and pull out of the drive way. "Bye guys I love and miss y'all already," I say yelling out the door and blowing them kisses. I then roll my window up and drive off. This is gonna be one long drive.

I've been driving for quite some time now. I need to stop and get something to eat because I'm starving. I see a McDonald's and I pull up through the drive thru. I ordered chicken nuggets, fries, and a large sprite. After I ordered I pull into a parking spot and eat.

I went to the bathroom after eating and threw my stuff away. I got back in the car and I continued to drive. I was starting to get tired after 6 hours of driving. I decided to get a hotel and sleep.

•Day 2 1/2 of driving•

I'm almost there. 1 more day of driving and I shall arrive at Harvard University and then go to my apartment that I'm going to be sharing with Mads. This has been the longest drive ever and she's super lucky she's flying. I guess it was best for us to have one of us drive with all the stuff and one to fly with a bag of necessities. I can't believe I got excepted into Harvard. It's a hard school to get into especially Yale. These were my top three colleges Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. I got into Harvard and Stanford, but I took Harvard. Mads on the other hand got into Yale, but decided to stick with me.

•Hours later•

I have about 3 to 4 hours left. Driving for 3 days and 4 hours is a lot. It was worth it though. I am getting very hungry. I think I need to stop somewhere and sit down and eat. I call one of my friends that are super close to this Olive Garden.

She arrives a few minutes later. "Omg Hazel," Scarlet says. "Look at you. You're gorgeous," I say looking at her. "It's so nice to see you," she hugs me. "It's nice to see you too," I hug her back. "How about we go in and eat because I'm starving," she laughs. "I was about to say the same thing," I laugh. We walked into the restaurant and we got a table.

We ordered our food and drinks. Scarlet has been questioning me about life in LA, and why I came all the way out here for college. I did it for mostly volleyball, but I'm studying theater, dance, and media. She was also asking me if I was going back to LA for everyone's birthdays and I of course said yes. I offered her to come with and she gladly said yes.

We ate our food, payed the bill and then we said our good byes. "I'll see you in a few months for Joeys birthday, oh and he doesn't know I'm coming home for that," I yell across the parking lot. "Okay, oh and you said he wanted a dog," she replied. "Yeah," I smiled. "Okay I'll find you a breeder," she says getting in the car. "Thank you," I smile getting into my car. I buckled up and started my car. I drove off to continue my way to Harvard.

•At Harvard University•

I pull into the parking spot that had my apartment number. Harvard provides us with apartments so we don't necessarily have to be stuck in the school all the time. (Idk if they actually do that or not.) I get out of my car and take in the air. I walk up to the front door and open it. I walked into the office. "Hello, how may I help you," the front desk lady says. "Hi I'm here for my apartment key," I say. "First and last name please and if there's a roommate I need their first and last to so I can give you both keys." she says. "Hazel Holder and Madison Lewis." I say. She hands me both keys. I tell her thank you and she nods. I walk out the doors and  walk over to the apartments.

I took the elevator to the third floor and I walked to the apartment. I was about to open the door when a girl said hi. "Oh hi, I didn't see you there," I say turning around. "Hi I'm Tessa," she hugs me. "Hi I'm Hazel," I hug back . "So is this your first year," she asked. "Yeah. One of my best friend and I are new," I smiled. "Oh okay. Well my boyfriend and I will gladly show you around,"  she smiles. "We'll also help you with your boxes," a guy says woth in Accent. "Oh Hazel this is my boyfriend Hardin," she points behind her. "Hi Hazel," he sticks out his hand. "Hi," I shake his hand.

We went and got dinner and got to know one another. They are so nice. I'm glad to already have friends here. After dinner we went back to the apartments.

I was heading to my bathroom to shower and get ready for bed when I got a FaceTime call.

•The FaceTime Call•

"Hey Soph everything okay?"
"You might wanna come back to LA."
"Why is everything okay?"
"Nessa and Josh broke up."
"Fuck."
"If you can't come out here, I'll buy here a ticket right now."
"You know id love to come back, but I just got here. Can you buy her a ticket and make sure it leaves in the morning."
"Yeah I will hold on."
"I'll pay you back. Just let me know how much it'll cost."
"I will."
"Okay."
"Hey who you on the phone with?"
"Hazel."
"Oh hey Hazel."
"Hey Jojo."
"I miss you come back."
"I miss you too, I'm sure I'll be home soon."
"You better my birthdays in two months."
"I know joeyyy."
"You should buy me a present."
"Haha you wish."
"Hey I bought you something for your birthday."
"Ooo what'd you get me."
"I'm not saying because your birthday isn't till July."
"Meanie."
"Haha."
"Okay love birds. Joey and I gotta go."
"We're not dating Sophia."
"Facts, but bye guys love y'all and miss y'all."
"Bye. We love and miss you too."

I go into the bathroom and shower. I then got ready for bed after showering. I walked out of the bathroom and went into my bedroom and fell asleep.
