I've liked Addison for a while. We got really close, we even dated for a like a week, we got really busy and decided it would be best to just be friends for the time being. It broke me. It broke us both. Her older brothers Jack and James told me that after we broke she was really upset for a while. Even though we decided to do this mutually doesn't mean it hurt any less. A huge part of me wanted her to fight for me. But we both agreed to break up, and it drained up.
When quarantine started we started texting again. Texting all the time lead to late night facetimes because we both suck at texting. I've seen Addison at really bad points in her life, so when I haven't heard from her for a week it worried me.

At first I thought she was ignoring me but then she wasn't posting on her social media's at all. I took it upon myself to text in an old group that had me, Monty, Jack, James, Enzo, and Lucas.

bryce i'm sorry to break it to you son but you know all the hate addi's been getting. she hasn't posted but we thought it was all gonna be okay. turns out we were wrong.
BRYCE
what do you mean you were wrong? is she okay or not?

we can't find addi. she's gone!

i went to check her room earlier today and she wasn't there. she's normally there when i check on her to make sure she's okay but when i checked today she was gone.
JAMES
she's been ignoring everyone and staying in her room. and now we can't find her.

I quickly picked up my keys and got in the car. Our spot where we hung out by ourselves was a pretty dangerous place to be when you're that hurt. It was at the top of a hiking trial. We sit on the edge and let our feet dangle over the edge. I've seen Addison get to a really low point in her life but never to the point where she would want to hurt herself. I still want to be sure that she's okay.
I drove to the trail and ran up as fast as I possibly could. I had to get to her. When I got there she was sitting there on the edge like we normally would. I stood and watched for a couple minutes, she kept looking down. But when she started to scoot closer to the edge I called for her.
