I woke up laying in my beautiful wife's chest and remembered the date May 9, 2027. You know what that means. It's mother's day.
I carefully pushed myself off of Addison trying my best not to wake her and tiptoed out of our bedroom.
I went down a few doors to the next biggest bedroom in our house with belonged to out 4 year old twins Athena Ariel and Alexandria Caroline Hall.
"Good Morning Girls!" I whispered as I kissed their cheeks going up and down to reach them on the bunk bed.
"Good Morning, Daddy." Athena rubbed her eyes before clinging herself around my neck allowing me to pick her up.
I brought them downstairs and she looked very confused. "Where's Mommy?" Lexie asked.
I normally wake up Addison before the girls so she can start making coffee for us, but I wanted today to be special.
Addi loved when I woke the girls up. They were most definitely a Daddy's girls. It was because even though we all don't live together anymore. I am still the owner and creator of Sway. I am constantly in meeting and initiating new members, so spending time with my girls I cherished these moments.
"Today is a very special day. It's called mother's day and we are gonna make Mommy a special breakfast and treat her like the queen of all the land all day. Even more than we normally do. Do the Hall girls understand?" I asked her to make sure they understood.
"Sir, yes, sir." They did a little solute thing. I chuckled at their response. It's something we do all the time, it was cute.
"We are gonna make Mommy breakfast. Toast and eggs. There's no way we could mess that up right?" I asked. "I don't think so, Daddy." Lexie told me.
"Yeah, I don't think so either but the last time you tried to cook we had to move out of that house sooo let's not try it out and say we did. Okay, it's the thought that counts." I heard Addison coming around the corner of the kitchen.
I ran up to her picking her up and spinning her around. I heard Athena and Lexie giggling from where they were sitting on the kitchen island.
I placed a sweet kiss on Addisons lips and placed her in between the girls on the island, not pulling away from the kiss until I put her down.
"Happy Mother's Day, Gorgeous." I kissed her forehead as the girls kissed her cheeks.
"Happy Mommy's Day Mommy!" The girls yelled in unison. Addison smiled and wrapped her arms around both of them. "Thank you. I couldn't have been a Mommy without you two girls." She said kissing their heads.
"What about me? You couldn't have been a Mommy without me." She hit my arm and giggled. "You get a very special thank you for that tonight." She winked at me.
"Yes! Okay Hall girls, how about IHOP? Pancakes anyone?" I asked the them. "YES!" They both screamed at the same time.
