Today Addison is getting her wisdom teeth pulled. All four of them. It's gonna be painful for a couple weeks but if she doesn't she can really ruin her teeth.
"My face is gonna be so swollen. I'm gonna look like a chipmunk. Would you still be my best friend if I was a chipmunk?" She said as I sat next to her after they started her laughing gas.
"Yes, Adds. I will still be your best friend if you looked like a chipmunk." I chuckled at her.
Her parents asked me to bring her because her mom has work and didn't want her dad to bring the boys just incase she says some weird stuff.
"You think I'll look like a chipmunk?" She asked with a big sad face. "I think you'll still be as beautiful as you are now." She grabbed my hand.
"Mannnnn, I always knew you were in love with me!" She yelled. "Nah, you're trippin. You're on the good shit right now. Making things up in that noggin of yours." Of course I was in love with her. Who wouldn't be.
"I think you arrreeee!" She smiled brightly with her eyes almost all the way shut. She is high off her ass right now. She started playing with my fingers and giggling until the orthodontist came in.
"Hey, Addison are you ready, Babe!" She came in with a big smile. "I might be swinging both ways, but I hate to break it to you doc, he's madly in love with me and very protective of what he claims his." Addison slurred her words pointing at me.
"I am not, you lunatic." I laughed. "We're gonna take her in now. It'll only take like an hour so if you want to go get her a smoothie or some applesauce she should be done by the time you get back. Just nothing solid." Dr. Valentino said starting to unlock the wheels on Addisons chair.
"Okay I'll be back very soon. I'll see you later, Beautiful." I said before kissing Addison's head.
"I told you he's in love with me..." I heard Addison tell Dr. Valentino as I walked out.
I went and bought stuff that she loves. Yogurt, ice cream, applesauce. Original not cinnamon she's allergic to cinnamon. Soup, and a whole bunch of juices.
Once I got everything I went back to the orthodontist office to go pick up Addison.
"Hey Bryce she's in the same room being moved into a wheelchair to bring her into the car." The nurse at the front desk told me. "Thanks Nancy."
I walked into the room where Addison was dead asleep in the wheelchair. The orthodontist assistant wheeled her out to my car and I laid her down in the backseat with two of the three seatbelts on her cause god knows she can't brace herself right now.
I drove her back to my house like I was instructed to by her parents until she's completely free of all laughing gas and anesthetics.
I brought her upstairs to my room and laid her under the blankets while I went to go get groceries from the car.
Once I put every in the mini fridge in my room I laid next to her cause I saw her start to stir.
She had gauze in her mouth so her words were kind of distorted. "You get out of this bed before Bryce comes to beat your ass." She spoke. "Adds it is Bryce." I told her while wrapping my arm over her shoulder.
"Oh hi. You know you're so handsome." She smiled widely with her gauze almost sticking out of her mouth. "Thank you, and you look beautiful as always, Angel."
"I'm am not beautiful, you liar." She protested. "Your right, your absolutely gorgeous." I protested her protest.
"Your still in love with me huh?" She asked making herself comfy on my chest. "I am not in love with you." I lied. "Well that sucks cause I'm most definitely in love with you. Why are you here if you don't love me?" She asked growing sad. She loves me?
"Angel, I'm sorry. I am in love with you. I've been in love with you since 2nd grade." I explained to her. "No you're not. Liar. You are not the real Bryce. My Bryce loves me and will do anything to make me happy. That's how I know he loves me. Cause he's always been there for me." She started crying.
"Oh, Angel. I love you, Angel. I love you so much. I love you." I hugged her and kissed her head in between every I love you.
"I love you with my whole heart, Angel." I told her. "If you love me so much can you get me some chick-fil-a?" She asked with pleasing eyes.
"Angel, the doctor said you can't have solid food for a little bit, but I yogurt and ice cream and apple sauce that you can have." I explained.
"What flavor ice cream?" She asked. "Chocolate. Your favorite." I smiled getting up to go grab it from the mini fridge.
"Why are not my boyfriend? We're literally in love with each other." She slurred through her gauze. "Tell me how you really feel, Angel." I laughed.
"I'm serious. Be my boyfriend!" She practically screamed. "Of course I'll be your boyfriend. So let me take care of you and as soon as you can eat solid food again I will take you out for a nice fancy dinner for our first date." I explained. She cheered and yelled full of excitement.
Who'd have ever thought this would be how I got the girl of my dreams.
