authors note: i've been watching the steve wilkos show for the past week and a half and then i was writing and thought about how would bryce react if something like this happened. if you don't know what the steve wilkos show is i will put one of the videos above just to give you an idea of what it's about.

now sit back, relax, cell phones on silent and shut your fucking mouths, the show is about to begin.
Addison's POV "Bryce and Addison's 6 year old daughter Athena, told her parents that her grandfather has he had sexually abused her. The grandfather denies all accusations and says this 6 year old little girl is making up stories. Today we gave Bryce, Addison, and Bryce's father, Franklin, have all taken lie detector tests and we all are going to find out what really happened to Athena." Steve spoke into the directors camera and then sat down in a chair across from where Bryce and I were sitting.
"Hello Bryce, Hi Addison. You tell me that your 6 year old daughter Athena has accused her grandfather of sexually abusing her. Tell me how this came about. Tell me how you found out." He asked.
"Well Steve, a few days ago we were in a meeting with our managers and our daughter came into the meeting room in our house and she was crying. She immediately came to me. Which was strange because when she's upset she always wants her daddy. She's a complete daddy's girl absolutely loves her dad. So when she came in crying and came to me we were both confused. Bryce came over to the other side of the table and kneeled down next to us and started rubbing her back, asking her what's wrong and started crying even harder. I brought her into a different room let her cry for a little bit helped her calm down and I looked at her and asked her what was wrong. She said Momma, it hurts really bad. So I asked her I said what hurts baby show me where it hurts. Steve she pointed in between her legs. So I asked her did someone touch you down there. She didn't tell me anything. I told her it was okay that she could tell me who it was and we will take care of it. She looked me right in my eyes and said Grandpa Frankie did it. So I went to Bryce and told him what had happend. He was about ready to kill his father." I explained.
"I'm gonna give you a little bit of backstory. When I was 4 years Franklin was extremely abusive to my mother. Like he used to beat the absolute shut out of my mother and when I got older about 8-9 years old he would abuse me too. When my mother found out he was abusing me too she called the cops and he was arrested for domestic abuse and aggravated assault of a minor. Locked up for 25 years. He was released a couple years before our youngest was born which is Athena. We have three other kids. Brock and Blair who are twins their both 15, and Ezekiel who is 13. When Franklin was released I refused to let him around my family. My mother was going through therapy and she told her therapist that you know my father is out of jail and her therapist told her to face him, obviously I was not fond of the idea. So I went with her. He told us that he did what he did to us because of his strong alcohol addiction and he was sorry broke down in tears crying he's so sorry and hopes he can be a part of our lives again. I told him we can work on our relationship but you cannot go near my wife or my kids. Two years passes Addison is in the hospital having Athena and he wants to be there. Saying he missed so much with the other three he wants to be there for Athena. He hadn't done anything in the time he had been out to that point to make me believe that he would hurt any of us and he was 27 years sober, so I allowed him to come. My older kids knew of what happened to me as a child so they never liked him from that day. So to find out six years later that he not only hurt my baby girl but stole her innocence from her the first thing I wanted to do was kill him. Addison calmed me down and called the police and now we're here." Bryce explained to Steve.
