"I'm not hungry" I told my Mom who was putting together plates of food for all of us to eat lunch.
"Addison you haven't eaten since yesterday. You must be hungry." She argued.
"No Im okay. Thank you though." my mom finally gave up and closed my door with a disappointed look.
One thing though. I've been pretending to eat. I haven't kept down a meal for about two weeks. I've lost 26 pounds. I have a feeling my mom knows I've been throwing up after every meal.
Bryce and I broke up about a month ago. I miss him so much. He deserves someone better than me. Someone smaller than I am. He deserves the world. I want to be that girl for him and this is how I can do it.
Sheri's POV
Addison is not okay. I know my daughter and something is up. She's not herself. I know she hasn't been eating but I have no clue when the last time she ate actually was. I know exactly who to talk to.

i don't know if she told you but we broke up about a month ago but what's wrong is she okay?

she's not eating bryce. she's been starving her self. and when she does eat she throws it up in minutes. it also seems like she's lost a lot of weight when i checked on her last night. i don't know what happened but if anyone could get her to talk it's you.

Bryce's POV
Oh my god Addison hasn't been eating? How long has this been going on? Am I the cause of this? Is she okay?
Bryce chill you won't know any of these answers until you go over there and talk to her.
"Where you going bro?" Blake asked me when he saw me head for the door. "I'll be back later. I gotta get to Addison." I said in a hurry. I heard him yell simp as I got out the door.
I sped over to Addison's house and saw Lucas playing out on the front yard.
"Bryce!" Lucas yelled excitedly when he saw me. "Hey Bubba! Where's Addi?" I asked picking him up in a hug.
"She's in her room like always. She doesn't come out to play with me anymore." He said sadly. "Okay well let's go talk to her." I suggested.
"I don't know, Bryce. She hasn't been talking to anyone." He said. "Well we can try." I sat him on my shoulders and walked into the house to greet her parents.
"She's in her room." Sheri said handing me a key to her bedroom. I pulled out my keys and showed her the matching key letting her know I already have one.
I went upstairs to Addi's room and knocked on the door. "I'm still not hungry Momma." I heard her say. "It's me, Adds." I told her from the other side of the door.
She stayed silent. "Addison, please open the door." Silent again. "Please, Adds." Silence.
"Can I come in?" I asked her. "Please, Baby. It's just me." I almost whispered but loud enough for her to hear me. "Come in..." I heard her whisper.
My dumb ass tried to just open the door. You forgot it was locked stupid. I used my key and opened the door to see Addison sitting up in her bed, lights on blue and drowning in my sweats.
"Hey gorgeous." I said standing in front of her. "Hi" she said faintly. "How you holding up?" I asked. "I'm great. Living life." She said sarcastically.
I laughed a little before taking her hand in mine. "That was cute. But seriously. Are you okay?" I asked her rubbing her knuckles with my thumb.
"I'm okay Bryce serio-" I cut her off. "I know you haven't been eating Adds." Her face dropped and she went silent.
"Your mom told me." I finished. She pulled her hand away and ran both hands through her hair before falling back to lay down in the bed.
"What happened, Addison? Why are you doing this to yourself?" I asked her.
"I just wanted to be a better girl for you. A prettier girl for you. So you wouldn't have to walk around with a fat ugly girlfriend." My heart dropped all the way downstairs.
"Is that why you broke up with me?Cause you thought all this horrible untrue stuff about yourself?" I asked her, heartbroken that she felt this way about herself and watched as her tears filled her eyes and put her head down.
"Addison, you are the most beautiful girl that I have ever laid my eyes on. I've said it before and I will say it again. No girl has ever caught my eye like you do. No other girl has ever been able to completely change my mood from pissed off to happy just by walking into a room. You are the girl I love. I love you so so much, Adds. I love you now, and I will always love you. I love you for you. Don't change for anyone. Especially like this, you can get seriously hurt mentally and physically. I know you're not in the perfect mental state of mind right now but you know I love you and I want you to come on a lunch date with me to chick-fil-a. I just want you to eat but if you want we can do this more often." I finished implying that I wanted to start over my relationship with her.
I stand up and held out a hand for her. She lifted her head and reluctantly took my hand. We walked downstairs and told her parents we were leaving.
We ate and by the time we made it back to the house Addison was asleep. I carried her out of the car and put her to bed. I kissed her head and set an alarm on her phone for 11:30 in the morning that says "good morning beautiful i love you - brycey💙"
"Thank you so much Bryce." Sheri said to me. "No problem. I'll come back tomorrow to play with the boys and check up on her." I told her.
"You don't have to do that. You've done more than enough." She answered. "You know I love her more than anything else in the world. I will be here whenever she needs me. I'll see you in the morning Mama." I gave her a hug and shook Montys hand before leaving.
