Chapter 10: Leighade's day out

A/N let's pretend that Perrie and Jesy aren't right behind them. Also they aren't there with them.

Jade's POV

"Hey Jade, Perrie and I are going shopping and Leigh's not allowed to come so I need you to watch her to make sure she doesn't do anything dumb.", Jesy says peaking into my room. I look up from my book and give her a nod. "She needs to eat then get her pills every four hours. Don't let her get bored because she gets clingy and starts to twitch. That should be it but you can call me if I forgot anything.", she says closing the door.

I mark the page in my book and go downstairs to find Leigh asleep on the couch. "Bye Jadey.", is all I hear before I'm tackled on to the ground. "See you later Pez.", is all I could get out with her on top of me. "Perrie you're suffocating the girl. You know she's small.", Jesy says lifting her off of me. "Oh sorry.", she apologizes. I just wave her off and crack my back.

I sit on the couch opposite of Leigh after locking the door and scroll through my phone. I hear her stirring on the couch and look over to see that she's turning and readjusting herself. I walk into the kitchen and start making myself a bowl of cereal. I look to see what cereals we have and lightly groan. "What is it with Perrie and these sugary ass cereals?", I question to myself. I grab the least sugary ones, which are Frosted Flakes and pour them in the bowl.

I walk back in the lounge and turn the tv on and lower the volume. After about two hours, I hear Leigh stirring again and look over to the couch. She sits up letting the blanket around her shoulders fall to her waist and stretches. "What time is it?", she mumbles out. I look down at my phone and check. "It's 4:30.", I say putting my phone in my pocket. She nods before laying back on the couch. "Why is it so cold in here and how aren't you cold?", she questions.

I just point to her hoodie that I stole and go to turn down the a/c. "Why do you steal my hoodies? We're basically the same size. You'd be better off stealing Jesy's.", she says walking into the kitchen. "Yours smell good. Plus, Jesy keeps her hoodies hidden because she knows that we steal them.", I say. She comes back in with a bowl of lucky charms and takes the remote.

"Let's do something. I'm bored.", she says out of nowhere. "I mean they have a new penguin exhibit at the zoo. You wanna go?", I ask getting up. "Hell yeah.", she says walking up to her room. I join her upstairs and walk into my room to go shower.

25 minutes later

Leigh's POV

Jade and I are currently on the way to the zoo to see penguins. "What other animals do you wanna see? I know you like monkeys, and I like the zebras and lions.", I say turning into the zoo parking lot. "I wanna see the llamas.", she says excitedly. I grab one of the maps and look at the nearest exhibit. "Well we're closer to the llamas so let's stop there first.", I say looking at the map. We make it to the enclosure, and find one of the workers.

"Oh hi I'm Holly. ( completely random name).", she says shaking our hands. "I'm Leigh and this is Jade. What are the llamas names?", I ask completely entranced. "Well the blonde one is Perrie, the one in the back is Patrick, and the one in front of you is Liam.", she says feeding them. "Hey we know a blonde named Perrie.", Jade says laughing.

We walk through the rest of the zoo after saying goodbye to Holly. "Oh look there are some apes over there.", Jade says pointing to them. She presses her hand to the glass as she gets a closer look and one of the apes come over to her and puts its hand on hers.

"Oh Jade look.", I say taking a picture of it. "Huh?", she says looking down. "Awe. He's so sweet.", she says watching him follow her hand. We walk away from them and walk to the penguins. "Oh look Jade there's a baby.", I say pointing to it. She starts talking but I tune her out,( This is not a drill I repeat not a drill. Title has been dropped and fourth wall has been broken. Roll the credits.) when I see a group of people gathering on the other side of the enclosure.
