Summary: Jesy is going to start trying the exercises the doctor gave her to help Leigh face her attachment to Jesy.———————————————————————————
Jesy's POV

I wake up with Leigh's leg draped over me. "G'morning.", she slurs flopping on her back. "Do we have anything to do today?", I ask. She grabs her phone off of the nightstand before shaking her head. "It's a once in a lifetime off day for little mix.", she answers. "Good because I want to start trying these separation exercises the doctor gave me yesterday.", I say picking up the folder. She scoffs before knocking it out of my hands. "We're fine. Our dynamic is what makes us, us. And plus, we don't need separation exercises. I function just fine with and without you.", she says tucking herself deeper into the cover.

"Ok well I guess this is the right time to tell you that I'm going to the store. And before you ask, no you can't come.", I say getting up. "Why can't I come? All I need to do is shower, I don't even need to do that.", she says crawling after me. After finding a random pair of pants, she starts hopping around the room to get them on while also following me which ends up in her falling backwards onto the bed. "See what I mean?", I ask sitting back down. "Maybe I'm attached. There's no problem with that.", she huffs sitting up. "You and I both know that's a lie.", I say helping her back up.

"Does it make you uncomfortable?", she asks. "No but think about what would happen if I'm not there to calm you down. You need to be able to handle yourself.", I say. "Fine. What the first step?", she asks muttering to herself angrily. "First, we need Luke.", I say opening the door. "Heard my name?", he asks poking his head in. "I need your help to get rid of Leigh's attachment issues.", I answer. "Ok what do you need me to do?", he asks. "I need you to run out to the store and get some door knob covers.", I answer. He grabs the keys on the dresser before nodding and walking out. "Does he really need to help us? I'm fine without you.", she says rolling her eyes.

15 minutes later

Leigh-Anne's POV

I watch as Jesy gets ready for the day before she turns to me. "Why are you staring at me?", she questions. "I like to watch you get ready, it calms me.", I answer. "Well I'm gonna go shower. Find something else to calm you.", she laughs closing the door. "You hear that? She doesn't want to be around you anymore. Nobody's surprised.", a voice says making me flop back onto the bed. "I'm not listening.", I say plugging my ears. "We're in your head idiot. You can hear us no matter what.", the other sneers.

"Stop talking. Still not listening.", I say louder. "Who are you talking to?", Jesy calls from the bathroom. I decide to lie knowing that this will prove her point of me not being able to function without her. "I was talking to Harvey. He's whining and I told him to stop it.", I answer sounding confident with my answer. "Funny because I could've sworn Harvey followed me in here and is laying on his little bed.", she says. "Would you believe me if I said Harvey has a twin brother?", I ask. "Yeah right. Your pills on in my bedside cabinet. Take them or else, and I know exactly how many are in that bottle. So if they aren't two short, I'm hurting you.", she threatens.

I make a scene of opening the cabinet so that she can her before twisting open the bottle. I walk towards the mini fridge to get a bottle of water when I trip, sending the pills all over the floor. "Fucking hell. This morning is just great.", I say sarcastically rubbing my sore head. "What did you do?", Jesy questions walking out of the bathroom. I realize it looks like a purposely spilled the pills because I didn't want to take them but it's not like that. "I promise it's not what it looks like. I know it does but it isn't.", I say quickly standing up. "It looks you dumped the pills out because you didn't want to take them.", she says folding her arms.

"I tripped, I swear. I can show you the shoe I tripped over.", I say picking it up. "Sure you did. You're lucky I have a spare bottle. Don't "trip" and spill the bottle please.", she says sarcastically. "She hates you. Just like everyone else should.", a voice taunts as the other joins in, both getting louder and louder until it becomes unbearable. I cover my ears and close my eyes in hopes for it to help. I've dropped down to my knees without noticing before my feel a hand rubbing through my hair. "It's alright. I believe you, it's ok. Calm down.", she mumbles pulling my head closer until it's resting on her leg. "I'm back. I got two packs of four and they should go on all doors and a mini camera to see what happens.", Luke says opening the door.

Jesy holds up a one with her finger before turning back to me. "Count by tens and when you get to a hundred start over until you're calm.", she instructs. I follow them and by the time I get to eighty the fifth time, my breathing has evened out and I sigh out a breath to notify Jesy. Her and Luke are still talking so she continues to run her fingers through my hair for comfort. "Alright, let's get started. The first step is to see how long she can go without me being with her. Luke's got the timer and the door covers, we'll be down in the front watching tv. When you're ready for us to come back up, just call or text.", she says walking me over to the bed.

I fold my legs Indian style and sit in the middle of the bed before turning the tv on. "I've totally got this. I bet I could go hours before needing them.", I say to myself.

4 minutes and 13 seconds later

I bang at the door before trying to get the child cover off of it again. "Jesy! Luke! I don't wanna do this anymore! Let me out, please!", I beg. The handle starts to turn and I jump back as it opens. Jesy opens her arms and I fly into them before letting out all the sobs and tears that I held back. "What's the matter.", she asks rubbing my back. "They're being really mean. And they won't shut up.", I answer through my tears. "Well whatever they're saying, it's a lie. Just know that the truth is that I love you, I could never ever hate you, you mean everything to me, and my life wouldn't be the same without you.", she smiles tapping my nose.

"Really?", I ask wiping at my eyes. "Of course. Jade and Perrie love you too. So whatever those voices are saying, just know that the truth is you bring smiles to all of our faces, no matter what the mood.", she says wiping my tears. She goes to take her hands away and I grab them to keep the warmth and comfort. "How long did I last?", I ask looking behind Jesy to Luke. He looks to the stopwatch in his hand and checks the time. "Four minutes and thirteen seconds.", he answers. "I'm fucking pathetic.", I mumble looking away from Jesy's gentle eyes.

"No you're not. It was way better than when you first told me. Remember I couldn't even use the bathroom.", Jesy jokes stroking my cheeks with her thumbs. "And it's not entirely your fault either babes. I should've been a bit firmer whenever you asked to come with me some where. I was just worried about what would happen.", she says. "Alright, so the next part says to start spending more and more time apart until you can stay nights away from each other. So since Leigh got to four minutes, you start staying away for six. Every few hours you spend six minutes away from her to get her used to not being around you all the time.", Luke says.

"They're trying to take Jesy away from you. You have to stop them before she doesn't want to come back.", a different voice says. I try to ignore it but it continues to say similar things and I start to believe them. My grip on Jesy tightens as I move us away from Luke. "You're trying to take Jesy from me. Because of this stupid little piece of paper. Well I'm not letting you separate us.", I say grabbing the paper. I tear it into pieces before putting the pieces in our little garbage can. "What in the world are you talking about?", Luke questions stepping back. "The voice told me you were trying to take MY Jesy away from me. I'm not letting that happen.", I say pulling the older girl closer to me. "Let her go Leigh. I won't take her from you, but you have to let her go.", he says making calming motions with his hands.

"You'll have to pry her from my dead fucking body.", I say. "Leigh. Let me go.", Jesy says. "I-I can't. They'll take you away from me.", I say trying to reason with her. "I don't want to be around you while you're like this. It's dangerous and I frankly don't feel safe right now.", she says moving my arm. "But I'd never hurt you. You know that.", I say walking towards her again. "But do I know that? You're dangerous Leigh. You might not want to hurt me, but you can't control yourself when you get like this.", she says walking out the door. I feel my entire world shatter as she closes the door leaving me along with Luke.

"Leigh.", he starts. "Get out.", I say pointing to the door. "I'm not letting you sit up here by yourself.", he says. "Get out and take the dogs with you.", I say holding the door open. He sighs in defeat before picking up Reggie and Oscar with Harvey following him as he walks out. I sink to the floor and put my head in my hands. "Why do I always listen to the voices? All they do is ruin my life.", I say shaking my head. I grab the bottle and put two in my mouth before swallowing them dry. I lay in the middle of the floor as tears stream down my face.
