Chapter 3: Do you hate me?

Leigh-Anne's POV

On the way to Nandos I look through my window. I lean my head on and start to think. What if the voices are right? What if the girls all secretly hated me. Jade and Perrie were in the back talking . What if they- " Alright we're here so behave and don't do anything dumb. I'm look at you Jerrie.", Jesy says cutting off my train of thought. It was probably for the best she did before they got too out of control.

Simultaneously Jade and Perrie let out a, " HEY!", while Jesy only chuckles before undoing her seatbelt. Before she get out, she looks back again and glares at them and says, " I'm serious, don't you two do anything stupid like last time when you had a food fight in the restaurant.". Both Jade and Perrie shrink back a little by the stern tone in Jesy's voice. They both saluted her with shy smiles on their faces. She looks back and smiles at me and I give her a small one back. I climb out of the car, put my hood up, and slightly looked towards the ground. Some would think it's just a disguise, so no one would suspect I'm actually hiding massive depression.

After we got inside we were escorted to a table. Jade and Perrie on one side with Jes and I on the other. I didn't really feel like talking so I just pointed at what I wanted so Jesy could order it. When we finally got our orders, Jade got a burger, Perrie had gotten PeriPeri chicken( I know this isn't funny I was just running out of puns so * Kanye shrug*), I had nachos, and Jesy had salad. I had eaten about half my nachos before I noticed people looking at us. Me more specificity.

The girls conversation faded into the background as I focused my attention on them subtlety. They seemed to be talking about me seeing as they're going from talking to looking at me. I started to think about what might be wrong enough to make them have a whole conversation. I know I look like death, with the large eye bags and the half lidded eyes. I snapped into the real world when I hear Jade call my name. "Leigh. Leigh.LEIGH!". I looked at her confused when I noticed the two girls that were talking about me.

I put my best fake smile on after the girls said they were fans and took a few pictures. Almost immediately after they left, the smile dropped. I laid my head on Jesy's shoulder as my eyes started to droop. I felt her twist a bit and peck my forehead. I slowly smiled because I thought she was letting me sleep. Usually when we go out, she doesn't let me go to sleep in public. I was mistaken when she softly nudged my head off of her. I pulled my head up and look at her with my best pout and puppy dog eyes. She turned away from me for a second before she turns back around with a slight glare. I shrunk back and nodded as if saying, " I'll behave". Her stern expression dropped and she looked sympathetic.

3 hours later

Jesy's POV

When we made it back to the house Jade and Perrie said that they wanted some fresh air, so they went into the garden to run around and play a little. I saw Leigh start to climb the stairs to her room looking a little upset. I immediately felt upset seeing the sad look on her face. I told Jade and Perrie to remember sunscreen and ascended the stairs to go make my Leigh-Leigh feel better.

As I walk into her room, she's sitting on the floor rocking back and forth talking to herself. " She hates me. She actually hates me. The voices were right, they all probably hate me.", that was only some of the stuff she said. I felt bad because I knew she was sensitive and I was too hard on her. While I was having a mental conversation with myself, I failed to hear Leigh-Anne start whimpering like a puppy as she fell to the floor holding her head. I snap out of my thoughts when I hear a small thud on the ground.

I look over and start panicking. I slowly go over to Leigh-Anne so I don't startle her, and grab her quickly so she can snap out of it. She jumped and looked at me to see who it was and when she realized it was me she stuffed her head into my neck while clinging onto me and whimpering. My heart shattered as she was telling me to make it stop. I held her tighter and whispered, " It's ok I promise I won't leave you.". She just continues muttering, sobbing, and whimpering. I slowly lead us over to her bed and sit down with her on my lap. I keep slowly rocking us back and forth until she isn't crying as hard. I try to lay her down but she just clings to me tighter.

I ask why she won't let go and the answer makes me want to cry. " If I let go you're gonna leave me like the voices said you would. I wouldn't be able to live with out you and Jade a-and Perrie. So the only way to make sure you stay with me is staying with you.". She said all this in a panicked and rushed tone. I didn't say anything and just laid the both of us down. She must've been tired because as soon as we hit the mattress her puffy eyes start to drop. After about twenty minutes she start to quite down and her murmurs stared turning into faint gibberish. I felt myself getting tired as well and before I knew it, sleep over came me.

Perrie's POV( look at me with the POV changes 😉)

This isn't fair! Leigh's been getting all of Jesy's attention. I don't see how Jade's ok with this. We're the youngest we need the most attention. More like I need it but same thing. Jade and I had come in from the garden to hear a muffled thud. We both looked at each other and they waited for a few minutes to see if anyone would come down. When all we got was complete silence we went up the stairs. Jade protectively pushes me behinds her as we walked up the stairs towards Leigh-Anne's room. When we got there, Jade motioned for me to be quite and I nodded my head as she slowly opened the door. I'm not going to lie the sight that greets us is adorable. Leigh is curled in to Jesy's side as she holds her tightly. Jade and I say, " aww", together. We tried to be as quite as possible going back down the stairs so we could watch some more movies.

We had gotten back down to the lounge Jade started trying to pick out different movies to watch. I wanted her attention but she seemed to be very occupied. I tapped her on the shoulder and she turned her head to me. " How about instead of a movie, we play a game instead?", I ask with my head tilted. She thinks for a moment before standing up and walking up the stairs. For a moment I thought she had ditched me before she returned with a Disney castle LEGO set(A/N tell me why I can imagine jerrie doing this together and it would be cute af.)

Still Perrie's POV

After about an hour and a half later, Jade and I had made it through two quarters of the castle when Jesy slowly comes down the stairs carrying a sleeping Leigh-Anne. She looked a little bit tired but none the less content. In her arms, Leigh was twitching every now and then, but she also seemed to be quite content.

Jesy gave us a small smile as she walked past us and went to sit on the couch. She adjusted herself then started to slightly adjust Leigh-Anne. She looked as if she moved her too hard it would hurt her. Jade had already started to continue the castle but I wanted to talk to Jesy. I crawl over to her on the floor and popped up and front of her with my hands above my head like a performer. Jesy just smiled and tilted her head in confusion. I felt the corners of my mouth twitch upwards into a smile as she chuckles lowly. "I was thinking that maybe you and Leigh can join us so we can get done faster.", I say with my voice full of hope.

Jesy contemplates it for a bit before answering. " I guess I'll join you, but as I said earlier today, Leigh's not feeling too well at the moment and she taken some medicine that put her to sleep for a bit. I hope that's ok.", she says with a small smile on her face. This could finally be my chance to keep Jesy to myself while her attention was off of Leigh-Anne.

A/N ok so this took longer than expected. I had a idea for this plot but I started writing it and I got carried away. Also in this Perrie will be a little bit bratty but not bad bratty just like that annoying younger sister. And it's only because she doesn't know what's goin on.( see what I did there.) But yes so please don't hate me for making it seem like Perrie is evil. Basically think about it as Perrie is the youngest and she's used to getting the most attention.This is simply for development of the plot. Thank you.
