Chapter 25: Put Some Space Between Lesy

Summary: The youngest three start to execute their plan.

Perrie's POV

I walk through isles filled with sweet after sweet and grab as many as I can. "Remember to focus on the plan Pez.", Jade says taking some out of my hand. I grab Leigh's snacks and Jade makes a phone call. "Hey Janice, it's me Jade. I was calling to ask you a really big favor.", she says. "Oh that's great. We need you to keep Jesy distracted for a few days while we set something up for her.", Jade says. "Thank you so much. So if you could just give her a call and ask her to come down for a few days that'd be great.", she says hanging up. "We've got Jesy out of the house. Now we need to get stuff to keep Leigh distracted. Split up and search.", Luke says walking off.

Jesy's POV

"You heard their entire plan right?", I question to Leigh who's writing something down in her book. "It was kinda hard not to.", she answers not looking up. "They are right though. I know you don't wanna leave me, and I know it's hard for you right now but you have to believe me when I say I will always be there when you need me to be. The moment your anxiety gets too much you can call and I'll talk to you no matter how long you need to hear my voice, and no matter what time of day. You are one of my main priorities Leigh-Anne.", I say tilting her head up. "I know, it's just hard not having you. All these weeks of you being here and then you're suddenly not.", she says.

"And that's my fault. I made you so dependent on my that you can't function without me. Like I said, I'm always here for you, you can always get to me when needed and I love you. Don't let anyone, not even the voices tell you any different.", I say. She nods and pulls me into a hug. "What are you writing?", I question. "Just spit balling some lyrics. Is it possible to make a ballad into a sex song with it still being a ballad?", she questions. "Take Notice for example. It's sex talk with a beat but if you listen hard enough it's like a girl being ignored but her partner so she's desperate to get something from him. Depends on how you listen to it.", I shrug.

I get a call a few seconds later and look down at it. "Give me a minute, it's my mom.", I say walking out of the room. "Hey Jes, I was just calling to see if you could come down for a few days. It's a bit lonely with everyone gone.", she says once I pick up. "Sure. I'll be down there maybe later tonight?", I say. "Perfect. I'll be waiting.", she says hanging up. "So I guess they started their plan. You'll be ok for a couple of days?", I ask. "I think so. As long as you leave some stuff for me. And I can call whenever right?", she asks. "Always.", I reassure. "Then I think I'll be ok.", she nods.

"That's all I ever want to hear.", I smile. She sits back down on the couch and I let her lay her head in my lap. "Hey guys.", Jade says coming in the door. She puts a bag down next to us on the couch and sits down in the chair across from us. "Where are the boys?", Luke asks. "They went to go play paintball. They should be back soon though.", I answer. Just as I say that the door opens and Calum comes limping in. "I got hit in my jewels.", he groans falling onto the other couch. "No kids for you.", Perrie says. "Whats everyone gathered around for?", Ash questions. "I'm going to stay with my mom for a few days. She said she's lonely so I thought I'd spend a few days with her.", I answer.

Leigh's POV

I zone out as everyone talks and fiddle with the ring on my finger, counting the number of times I twist it to keep me grounded. I look over to my book and grab my usual green pen before sneaking away to my special place which is really an old closet that I've put a bunch of stuff in. I don't know how anyone hasn't figured out about it but I'm grateful they haven't. I haven't even told Jesy about this place. I want it to be my own little sanctuary. You'd think that because it's a closet I'd be cramped but it's big enough for a beanbag, a mini fridge, and both my dogs. It's got a sun light so I use that to finish writing.

"Where'd Leigh go? Oh god she's missing.", I hear someone say. They walk through the first floor calling out my name. I put my pen away and use the page marker as I close my book before I hear them all run upstairs. I take my chance and move to the movie theater in the basement. "Let's check the basement.", I hear Jade say. The boys rush down first and sigh once they see me sitting down. "Why didn't you say anything? You had us worried.", Jesy says rushing over. "I thought you all saw me. I'm sorry.", I say. "It's ok. We just have to get you a bell. Yes, you need a bell. Jade bring me a bell.", Luke says. Jade hands him a small bell that he attaches to my necklace.

"Now we know where you are at all times.", he says sitting down. "I'm gonna go pack. Make sure we don't lose her.", Jesy says walking away. I get up and start walking up the stairs making everyone follow me. I walk into the kitchen and grab a bag of chips before sitting down on the couch. "Are you ok?", Luke questions. "I'm fine. A little hungry.", I answer. They all stare at me making me shift a bit from all the unwanted attention and I turn on the TV. I pull a blanket over my legs and take a sip of my water. "You ok with Jesy having to leave Leigh?", Luke questions. "Eh, she's leaving to go see her mom. I wouldn't stop her even I wanted to.", I shrug watching my movie. Jesy comes down with her bags and walks over to me.

"I called Monty. I'll be off now. My phone is on at all times.", she says. I nod and she leans her forehead on my. "I love you.", she says. "I love you more.", I say. She strokes my cheek for a second before saying her goodbyes to everyone. "Hopefully I'll come back to an in tact house.", she says walking out the door. I get up and stretch before walking into the kitchen. I grab another bag of nacho chips from the cabinet and turn around to face three of my housemates standing there. "So how do you feel?", Perrie questions. "I'm a bit hungry. I might go out and get dinner.", I answer scratching my cheek. One of the timers on my phone goes off and I look down. "Well, if you're done with your interrogation, I'm gonna go take my meds and get my dinner.", I say walking away.

I take my medicine and grabs my keys before moving out to my car. I hum along to the song on the radio as I drive to my nacho place and drum my fingers on the wheel. After getting my usual order of jerked nachos, I drive back home only to get met with the same three faces. "So what'd you get?", Jade asks. "My usual.", I answer confused. I walk past them and meet with the other boys. "We're gonna head out and get our dinner. We'll pick something up for the young bunch too.", Mikey says. "Alright, I'll be up in my room.", I say walking up the stairs. I turn on the tv and start to eat before the door gets knocked on. "What's up guys? The boys went out to get your dinner, they'll probably be back soon.", I say. "We just wanted to hang out with you. We know you might be lonely without Jesy so we wanted to fill the space.", Luke says.

"If it's alright, I kind of wanted to be alone. I'm just chilling right now.", I say awkwardly. "Oh yeah, all cool.", Jade says closing the door. "It's gonna be a long weekend Harv.", I say to the sleeping pug.
