Harry woke to the sound of laughter, taking a few seconds to wake up more before opening his eyes. He peeked his eyes and groaned, it was bright in the infirmary. His legs felt weighed down. Moving them slightly, the laughter stopped.

"Harry? Are you awake," Draco asked, sitting to his left. Harry could hear water, presumably in a bowl on the table next to him, before he felt a cold cloth cover his forehead. He reached up to hold the cloth in place, finding the hand that placed it. Tentatively opening his eyes, Harry saw the blurred outline of Draco standing above him.

"Here, let me help you," Draco said when Harry tried to sit up. He placed his hand in Harry's armpit and grabbed under his elbow. Once Harry was sitting up straight, Hermione handed him his glasses.

"Thank you," Harry rasped, his throat was very dry. Spotting a glass of water on the table to his right, Harry eagerly snatched it up and downed it. He set the glass back on the table and looked around. The weight on his legs was his friends books. "How long have I been out?"

"Just a day, it's only Tuesday evening," Hermione stated, turning her attention back to her books. Draco removed the cloth from Harry's head, refreshed it, then returned it back to Harry's forehead.

"We've taken all the notes from every class, all the teachers have given you till the end of the week to make everything up. I have a feeling you won't need it though. Dumbledore gave us permission to have dinner here with you tonight. Madam Pomfrey said after you wake up you'd only need to spend one last night here and then back to classes. We can't have you falling behind and looking dense, can we," Draco had returned to his seat, flipping through pages.

He rambled on till he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up, he found Harry smiling down at him. Draco's worry eased a bit. Harry looked tired, but he was going to be okay.

"I'm alright, Draco. I honestly can't wait to get back to homework, something normal," Harry said, looking off toward the door.

"What happened yesterday wasn't your fault, Harry. You couldn't have known any of that was going to happen. He wasn't even here for you," Hermione argued, putting her quill down and looking up at her friends. "I heard Dumbledore and Mr. Malfoy talking, they didn't know I was just outside the door.

"Apparently Dumbledore had something that Quirrell, or rather Voldemort, wanted and that's why he was here," Hermione finished, giving Harry a small smile.

"That must be what was on the third floor," Draco said, looking from Hermione to Harry. Harry nodded in agreement and Hermione looked confused. Draco took the time to explain to her how they had been following Quirrell since Christmas.

Harry grabbed his books and opened them up while the others talked, glad the attention wasn't on him anymore. Noticing Harry's move towards homework, the others quit talking and followed his lead. They worked in a comfortable silence until a few elves brought them their dinner.

The end of the school year came rather quickly. Harry and Professor Quirrell was the talk of the school for a few months, drawing more unwanted attention to Harry, rumors spreading like wildfire.

Some rumors said Harry didn't like the grades he received and he took Quirrell out so he could pass. Others were darker, that Harry was turning into a dark wizard like You-Know-Who and since Quirrell was the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, he knew what Harry was becoming and that's why Harry killed him. No matter the rumor, Harry killed a professor.

Once everything died down, though, and was back to normal, it was the end of the year and it was exams time. All the students were in a frenzy, most were convinced they were going to fail. The trio had no such worries, they were ready. The NEWT students took over the library, but Harry and his friends had their spot by the lake to study.

"Hey! How'd you guys do," Hermione said, joining the boys in the courtyard after her last exam. "Transfiguration was so easy! All this test taking, I'm ready for the feast tonight. I'm starving."

"Please. That Potions exam, I've been making that potion for years. Harry did great though. Professor Snape looked skeptical at first, but he actually gave Harry a nod. Can you believe it," Draco gushed causing Harry to blush. Snape hardly ever showed approval.

"Wow, that's great, Harry," Hermione exclaimed, giving Harry a hug. Draco felt a jolt go through his body and he looked away. What if Harry liked Hermione? That thought made Draco's heart hurt. Maybe that's what his parents meant by waiting till he got older, maybe Harry didn't share the same feelings and Draco would only push him away.

"Alright. I'll see you guys tonight at the feast. I'm going to go pack my things for tomorrow. It's kind of sad, isn't it? To be going home," Hermione pouted before giving them a smile and running off.

"You okay," Harry asked, nudging Draco with his shoulder. The blond's mood seemed to have flipped suddenly.

"Yeah. We should go pack our things too," Draco said, standing suddenly and heading for the door, leaving Harry sitting there. Harry got up quickly and caught up to Draco. He didn't want to push it, but something was bothering Draco. Harry hoped that maybe he would talk when he was ready, like Dudley usually did.

Returning to their room, Draco went straight to his bed and pulled his trunk out from under it. Harry closed the door and stood there, watching Draco pack his things. He looked tense. Pushing off the door, Harry walked over to him and wrapped his arms around the blond.

Draco hesitated slightly before wrapping his own arms around Harry. They stood like that for a while. After hearing other students outside their door, more than likely heading to the Great Hall, they broke apart. Harry grinned at Draco and he returned it with a small smile before they began to pack their stuff.

Harry saw Draco grab his snow globe Dudley made for him and an idea came to Harry. He grabbed his own off his desk and walked over to Draco's desk. Placing his on desk next to the other globe, Harry placed his hand on top off them both.

Draco watched as he closed his eyes and the glitter inside the globes started swirling. Opening his eyes, Harry removed his hands and looked at Draco.

"Alright. Now, put one hand on top of yours," Harry said, grinning at Draco. Eyeing Harry suspiciously, Draco did as he was told. Harry's grin grew wider as he placed a hand on top of Draco's and the other on his globe. "Now, place your other one on top of my other hand."

Draco rolled his eyes, trying desperately not to smile at Harry's goofiness. He did as he was told and watched as Harry closed his eyes again, the glitter beginning to swirl again. Harry opened his eyes once again and removed his hands, Draco followed his lead and watched him expectantly.

"Touch it," Harry said, pointing at Draco's globe. Blushing hard, Draco did as he was told, again. Only Harry Potter can tell him what to do and so often at that. Once Draco's hand touched his globe Harry's globe's glitter started swirling. Removing his hand quickly, Draco looked to Harry with shock.

Harry chuckled and reached out and grabbed his globe, Draco's glitter started to swirl. Draco's gloomy mood finally faded and a grin broke out across his face. He had to admit, it was a pretty awesome trick.

"Now, over the summer, if you're thinking of me or I'm thinking of you, we'll be able to know," Harry said, turning back to his trunk, putting the globe down gently and closing his trunk. "I also made them unbreakable, so don't worry about packing it."

Draco couldn't seem to get rid of the smile on his face as he finished packing his trunk and even though Harry said the globe was unbreakable, Draco still placed it in his trunk with care. He still had the smile on his face when they got to the Great Hall for the final feast.

The Great Hall was decorated with the Slytherin house crest. Everyone in the Great Hall was celebrating, Slytherin being the loudest table of them all. Hermione was sitting in Harry and Draco's usual spot at their table. It being the last feast before they went home tomorrow, each table was an assortment of colors, everyone wanting to spend their last moments with their friends.

Dumbledore stepped up and announced Slytherin house as the winner of the house cup, sending a wink at Harry over his half-moon glasses. As he stepped down from the podium, the tables filled with food and the school shared their last feast of the school year.
