Finally landing on his feet, Harry hunched forward, placing his hands on his knees. He felt a bit nauseous, but thankfully, he wasn't going to throw up. He felt Draco's hand on his shoulder and turned around.
He turned to face a giant iron gate with an "M" in the middle. White roses growing on vines hung on the wall surrounding the manor grounds, there had to be thousands of roses. The vines were even looping through the bars of the gate.
The manor was large and beautiful, sitting about fifty feet behind the gate. It looked to be two stories, but Harry knew it had a cellar, and there were candles in every single window.
The gravel lane leading to the manor had flowers of every variety and different colors. A roundabout ended the lane in front of the manor, a white marble fountain sitting in the middle.
The fountain was two house elves standing back to back with their hands reaching for the sky, water shooting into the air from their hands. Water pixies we're playing, jumping in and out of the water, making the water sparkle.
"Wow," Harry cooed, turning to Narcissa. "Your home is beautiful! Are those water pixies?"
"They are. The inside of the fountain is actually hollow and that's where they nest. Some see pixies as a nuisance, but these pixies water all the flowers and plants on the grounds," Narcissa explained, walking up to the gate.
She placed her hand in the middle of the giant "M" and a shimmer went through the gate. The rose vines began to disentangling from the bars, with the exception of one rose. It moved when Harry moved, as if it were watching him.
"Harry, dear. I'm going to ask you to prick your finger, just once, and this rose with allow you entrance to the manor," Narcissa said, waving her hand to the rose. "Just walk up to it, slowly, too fast and it will see you as a threat."
He walked up to it at a calm pace and the leaves around the rose puffed up, like a frilled-neck lizard. A single vine wrapped its way up a bar, like a slithering snake, and stopped in front of Harry. He reached for it with his hand and pricked his middle finger on a thorn.
A shudder went through the vine. The white rose flashed red before the rest of the roses flashed red, like a wave. Once they were all white again, the rose's leaves went down and the single vine left. Narcissa walked up to Harry, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"It took a little of your blood, with your magical signature, and added it to the wards. From now on, we can apparate straight to the front door," she said. "Go ahead, open it."
Harry reached for a bar, watching the rose. It didn't move an inch. Wrapping his fingers around the bar, he gave it a light push and the gate swung open. Narcissa went on, making her way down the lane, leaving the two boys at the gate.
Draco nudged Harry, hoping to get him moving, but Harry was looking at everything. The flowers on either side of the lane flowed in the wind, seemingly waving to welcome Harry. He turned and grinned at Draco, receiving a grin in return from the blond.
"Wait until you see the inside," Draco said, following Harry toward the manor. A mist formed the closer they got to the fountain. "Oh, hey, they like you."
Looking through the mist, Harry saw the water pixies dancing. They seemed to be celebrating, waving Harry over. He simply waved back, but continued to follow Draco to the manor. Pixies are known for being notorious tricksters, very conniving.
Draco opened the front double doors, ushering Harry in. They walked right into the foyer with a crystal chandelier twice the size of the Slytherin common room's.
