"What the fuck" I yelled, they pulled away from each other instantly

"Kim I-" Soda started but I cut him off

"No just stop. You do this every single fucking time! No matter how bad she hurts you you always run back!"

"Soda tell your little friend here to mind her own business" Sandy said and glared at me

I walked up to her and got up in her face

"I'm not his friend, I'm his girlfriend."

"Apparently not anymore" She replied

I looked back at him and I saw the guilt on his face.

"Kim stop" He said trying to grab my arm but I pushed him away

"Soda I can't just stop! You keep hurting me over and over and over for this hoe! How are you gonna tell me that you love me but then go and cheat on me?"

"Someone grab popcorn" Steve joked

"She kissed me-"

"You kissed back! What's not clicking Soda? Jesus. Your always telling me to stop but why don't you stop? Why don't you stop running back to this whore!?" I could feel my eyes starting to water so I rubbed my eyes

"Look the little baby is gonna cry" Sandy said rolling her eyes

I pushed her back into a wall but Soda grabbed me so that I couldn't do anything else.

"You're so lucky Sandy" I said as I walked backwards

Darrel walked outside and told Ponyboy and soda to go inside but they wouldn't

"How am I lucky? If anything your lucky. If dallas wasn't ur brother and if your mom wasn't dead no one here would care about you."

I tried to run up to her and hit her, I really did but all the boys were holding onto me, including Darry

"Let go off me!" I whined

"Kimberly calm down" Soda said

"I'm not taking orders from the person who just cheated on me."

"Sandy I think it's best you leave" Darrel said

"Whatever" She said and walked off.

I walked into the house and cried. I just cried into a pillow until ponyboy came and let me cry on him.

"My brother's an idiot" He said patting my back

"Why doesn't he love me?" I sobbed into his chest

"Kim I love you it just happened" I heard him say from the other room but I just flipped him off.

I eventually finished crying.
"I'm going to stephanys"
they said bye to me and I walked there, she was only about 3 minutes away. I know she told me not to go crying to her but I have no other friends. Only a few school friends.

I walked right in because that's what I usually do but then I walked into her kissing her boyfriend.

"Nevermind this isn't a good time" I said walking right out

I walked back inside, I heard Steph tell me to come back. They were no longer kissing and Stephany was getting up

"What the heck did I walk into?"
She ignored my question and she saw how puffy and red my eyes were.

"Were you crying?"

"Yeah that's why I came here"

"What did he do now?" She asked

"I swear I'm gonna kill someone" Stephany said, referring to Sandy

"I wanted to beat her up you have no idea"

"You would've won too. That broad can't fight." Her boyfriend, whos name is Cole chimed in

"I told you kim but you don't listen, he's not good for you" stephany said

"But I love him" I whined

"No, you just love the idea of being with him. You think it's gonna be something out if a Disney movie but you should know by now that isn't anything like a Disney movie" She said.

"I still can't believe he would do that. I'm gonna kill that kid" Cole said as he got up and went towards the door. I instantly got up.

"No you're not. You don't have the balls to anyway"

"No but your brother will when he finds out" He said and ran out the door

I tried to catch up to him but I couldn't, I wish I was fast like ponyboy in times like these.

If dally is at home and Cole is going there then I should just go to Sodas house to I guess warn him or do something I don't know. I can't do much when it comes to my brother and Soda.

I ran there as fast as I could and barged through the door. Steve and Darrel were talking to Soda and Ponyboy and Johnny were just in the living room.

"Your back already?" Ponyboy said looking up at me. I was trying to breathe though

"Dal-dally might come because Cole went and told him what Soda did-" That's all I could get out of my mouth before I saw him walking over here.

Soda and Steve stayed back and continued to talk but Darrel stayed at the door. If anyone could stop Dally it would probably be Darry, darry is probably stronger and he has a brain. But I can talk dally out of doing it

"Pony I'm scared" I said

"That's your seventh time saying that today" He said

Dally ran up to the house.

"Where the fuck is he man?" He yelled

"You know, he'd only do this for you or johnny, yall are the only ones he actually loves" ponyboy said

I looked over at Johnny and we just shrugged.

"What's wrong dallas?"

"What's wrong is that he hurt my kid sister"

Jesus Christ

"Dally just leave" I yelled from inside. He didn't say anything "there's no point in all of this. it's just useless."

He kinda just stood there, I was watching from the window

"Go home dallas! It's my problem not yours!"

I watched him get mad but walk home.

"Thanks, I didn't really want to watch my brother get beat up" Ponyboy said

"I did" I mumbled

"What?" Soda said

"I was joking. I'm going home" I said and got up

"Man I told you not to answer the door" Steve said to Soda

"Wait Kimberly how are you getting home?" Darrel asked

"I'm walking"

"No your not, your gonna get yourself into trouble. Soda will drive you"

There was no way I was gonna argue so I kind of just let him. Soda walked out and we walked into the car, the drive was very awkward, it was just quiet and I could tell he was mad.

"Look I'm sorry for yelling at you soda" I said shrugging

"It's not your fault, it's mine"

I couldn't really argue with that so I just looked out the window.

"Thanks for the drive sodapop" I said and walked up to my house.

"Hey, how was your birthday? Do you want cake?" Lisa asked
How was my birthday? It was the worst.

"It was alright. I'm gonna go to sleep so no" I said and walked upstairs.
