I'm so sorry I was gonna do Dally's POV but I was struggling lmao                                                                              

Kimberly's POV

I woke up at around 7:30, School starts around 8:30.

I got ready and somehow looked decent. Last night dally told me that Soda felt bad, but I don't really care at the moment. Ponyboy and I walked to school together again.

"You know, Sodapop feels really bad"

"And?"

"Well... You should forgive him, you have to sooner or later"

"Eventually I will"

"He's been really sad lately"

"Well I've been worse"

I was walking towards Pony, Two-bit, and some more greasers at lunch but then Sandy came up to me, Sandy and I were okay, but deep down we didn't like each other.

"Were you the one who told Soda?" She seemed mad, I guess I would be too.

"Soda and I aren't even on speaking terms right now" I had to seem like I don't know what she's talking about.

"Okay good, because he broke up with me because I kinda cheated on him" She believes me.

"Of course you did"

"What do you mean? It was all an accident anyways" I can tell she's lying.

"Oh, well I hope you guys get back together" I don't want them to though

"He's all yours, I don't want him anymore" My face lit up.

"Haha, I don't like him like that-" I looked behind Sandy and saw Sodapop, why was he here?

"Why are you here?" I said, frustrated.

"Ponyboy forgot his lunch. I also need to talk to you later, come to the DX." He gave me a half-smile then gave pony his lunch and left.

                                                                                        ~

"Hey Kimberly. how you holding up?" I look up and saw Curly, me and him were friends, we didn't talk much though.

"Holding up? What do you mean?" 

"I heard about the fight with you and Sodapop"

"How?!"

"Tusla is a small town, rumors spread quickly. He shrugged then sat next to me.

"Well, I've been better."

"You know, the only way you're going to get him back is if you make im jealous."

"What are you talking about?  im meeting with him after school anyways."

"That may be the case for you but not for me."

"I thought we were talking about Sodapop, why did you change the subject to make it about you?"

He sighed "Because me and my girlfriend just broke up, and I need to make her jealous, and im guessing you need a rebound or something"

"Soda and I weren't dating in the first place, why would a need a rebound?"

"Look, can you just do this for me? Please I know i'm really annoying but i'm better once you get to know me." He gave me puppy dog eyes, isn't he supposed to be tuff. I gave in and said yes

"You're lucky I'm nice."

No, Curly and Kimberly won't fall for each other I wouldn't do that like everyone else does.

I honestly don't really know why I'm doing this but I guess I need some sort of entertainment other than Drive-ins and writing songs.

"Just so you know we aren't actually dating" I said giggling.

"Yeah, I know that idiot."

The whole day we pretended to be a couple, it was actually fun, considering I've only dated 1 person in my whole life, and that was a long time ago.

Curly had his arm around me at the end of the school day. "Bye curly, see you tomorrow"

"Bye babe" He winked at me. I started laughing and waved bye, Ponyboy walked towards me.

"What are you doing with Curly? It's only been a few days since Soda" He seemed confused.

"I'm doing him a favor, wanna come to the DX with me?"

"No, I have homework."

"Okay, suit yourself" I gave him a smile and headed towards the DX

I got to the DX

"Hey steve, where Sodapop?"

He looked at me surprised "I never thought I'd see you here again, he's in the front."

"Thanks Steve." Me and Steve used to be really close, but we drifted. He used to tease me a lot abotu liking Sodapop even though I never actually said I liked him.

"Hey soda!" I was happy to see him again, considering im "Dating" Curly there shouldn't be a problem

"Hey Kim, I hope you're still not mad at me, I didn't mean what I said, I was just mad."

"Of course I'm not mad at you anymore" 

"I'm actually really happy you did that for me, or else I would end up marrying her"

I stayed at the DX for about half an hour then I made my way home.
