By the time I finish this book there's gonna be a lot of parts and I hope yall r fine with that

I was woken up by Soda. "Kim, get up. We're gonna go to see Dally and see what he did."

"He stole something I know it. Let me get changed." I got changed then we visited the jail. 

We were told that its either 6 months in jail or bailed for $1,000.

"We don't have that kind of money" Ponyboy said. I knew they did but it's for rent and stuff. Im not gonna ask them for money or anything anyways.

"I know pone, but I do. I've been saving it up to pay you guys back but-"

"What do you mean but? You always bail him out. He doesn't do anything for you." Soda said annoyed.

"Soda this is my brother we're talking about. First I need to ask him about what actually happened and then ill decide if I'm bailing him out or not, but I don't wanna be killed so ill probably bail him out anyways." I said and walked off. 

I only had an hour with Dally so this better be worth it.

"What happened, why are u here?" I asked, sitting down.

"Just bail me out of this place man." 

"Tell me what happened first."

"Fine. I was with Sylvia and we were walking back home and we were gonna hav-"

"I don't need that much detail."

"Anyways and Then these two Socs come up to us and they said how they were sleeping with Sylvia, I got in a fight with them and then stole a bunch of stuff in some store. Then the police chased me and arrested me."

"Jesus man, you literally caused a whole rumble to start."

"A rumble? Get me out of here I want to fight" He said getting annoyed.

"It's not confirmed yet but you sure got the socs mad"

"Of course I did man, I beat their heads in."

"I'll bail you out but I swear if you do this one more time your stuck in here"

"Whatever man get me out of here"

                                                                      ~

We got home.

"Man this place is a mess. I don't remember ruining it this much"

"And now your gonna clean it up while I get ready for work" I said walking up the stairs

Dallas yelled up the stairs "Cant we hire a maid or something?"

"With what money? I spent it all on your bail" I said then left for work.

I was at work, there was barely anyone in at this time and then Soda and Steve walk in through the door. 

"Why are you losers here?" I said, teasing them.

"Nothing, our shift just ended but I thought I should let you know the rumble is happening tonight" Soda said looking into my eyes. I felt my heart sink. Soda knew I hated rumbles. I hated watching my friends fight with other people.

"Fighting won't solve anything, boys are dumb" I said 

"Your brother is the one who started this" Steve cut in

I sighed. "I know, ill be coming to watch."

"I don't want you to, you should just stay home and wait for us"

"Does it look like I want to sit around doing nothing?" I said. Stephany chimed in

"Can I come? Ill watch Kim. And if anyone tries anything ill fight them."

I laughed.

"Girls don't fight in rumbles, girls cant fight. Steve said.

"Greaser girls can fight. I don't know about girls like cherry though." Soda defended us.

They eventually left. "Don't worry, the boys will be fine. Mine will be fighting too" Stephany is dating a greaser too, but he doesn't hang out with me or any of my friends.

I just decided that now instead of "~" being time skips its gonna be "-" instead.

The rumble was set for 7 pm and it's 6:40ish, Stephany and I were at the Curtis house. Stephany is your basic greaser girl, She puts a lot of makeup on, she wears leather jackets, she makes jokes a lot and she's loud. She's definitely fun to be around though. I don't get along with a lot of the other greaser girls and I don't know why to be honest. 

Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dallas were all on the couch talking. Ponyboy doesn't even seem to want to be in the rumble, but I guess he has to or they'll be outnumbered. They started talking about Dallas and his childhood.

"You know, before Dallas was thrown in jai-"

"Shut your trap kid" Dallas said as he cut me off. I was just gonna say that he was actually nice and didn't throw tantrums but okay. 

"Hey, after we beat those Socs tonight, good me and Steve are gonna throw a huge party, and everyone's gonna get ripped!" Soda yelled from the kitchen.

"Where are you gonna get the dough, lil man?" Darrel teased

"Uhhh... I'll think of something."

I walked up to Soda. "You know, I really don't want you to fight in this rumble."

"Well, you never like me or literally anyone else fighting in the rumbles. we will all be fine. We've had many rumbles"

"Yeah and my point still stands" I said "These fights are useless, all you guys do is get hurt" 

"Awh look at little Kimberly looking out for us and especially Soda"  Twobit said as he was watching us

"Shut up twobutt and go back to watching mickey mouse." I said rolling my eyes

Stephany chimed in"Oh come on Kim, let the boys hurt themselves." Then whispered "Either way they look cuter when they have the marks on their faces" I hit her on the arm playfully

"You know I'm right here" Soda said, and then continued "Kim, to make it up to you ill make you green pancakes"

"Nooo, not green pancakes. You're green pancakes suck. I make it better than you" I said

"The only thing here that sucks is ur tastebuds" Soda replied

"Nope, my tastebuds are immaculate, you just can't cook green pancakes"

"I don't know what immaculate means but okay we can put that to the test tomorrow morning" 

"Guys it's almost 7, yall better get going" Stephany said as she popped a cancer stick in her mouth.

Ah yes, the moment I've been dreading, the rumble.
