I threw on some ripped jeans and a hoodie, We walked in silence. Soda kept trying to get me to talk about my feelings but I kept saying "No, how many times do I need to tell you? I don't like to talk about myself." Which is true. I finally broke the awkwardness. "So, how's you and sandy?" Although I like Soda, Being his best friend I have to accept him for what he does, even if that includes dating a rude hoe.
"Pretty good!" He replied, after that he just kept blabbering about Sandy so I wasn't listening, I was just thinking about homework I need to catch up on. "Kim are you even listening?"
"Huh?" I guess not.
"I'm going to marry sandy!" He said excitingly
"You're what?!" I was furious, he was only 16 goddamn is he stupid or something. (It's ok cos he's cute)
"I still need to purpose and all that jazz but Sandy and I are in love!" I stood there so shocked words cant even come out of my mouth.
"Kimberly? I need your advice should I do it?" He asked and gave me puppy dog eyes.
God, I felt bad for him, she's going to say no, but I can't tell him that.
"Well, I think you guys are kinda young but uh... Go ahead! I'm sure she'll say yes" I looked at the ground then back at Soda.
"Thanks Kim, your the best! I have work in 30 minutes so I have to get going now, Love you sis" He smiled and walked off.
"Sis" is that all I am to him?

"Pony can I talk to you?" I said sadly
"Yeah what's up Kim?" He replied.
"You heard about Sandy and your brother right?"
"Yeah it's not too hot of an idea but go on" I'm glad he agrees with me.
I made sure no one was around and said: "I like sodapop, like like like."
"I knew it!" He said happily
"You what?!" I'm so confused.
"Ever since you were little I can tell you liked him, you guys are meant for each other."
"No we aren't, im a "sister" to him, he hates me and I know it" I said looking down at the floor
"Just give him some time, he'll eventually realize it sooner or later.
