𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚋𝚘𝚢𝚜, 𝚒𝚝𝚜 𝚊 𝚌𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚒𝚌

"Come on boys, it's a classic"

A movie night with the Broadway boys

Warnings: None...maybe ET spoilers but idk if thats really a warning

· It was movie night in the Newsies household

· And it was Y/N's turn to pick the film

· Y/N: Come on boys, it's a classic

· She was brandishing the DVD case for ET

· This earned some groans from the guys

· Spot: But Y/N its old!!

· Y/N: I don't give a crap if its old Conlon it's a good movie

· Spot huffs

· He DOES NOT wanna watch ET

· For some unknown reason...

· Y/N doesn't care

· . . .

· Albert has the snacks

· He's sat in a beanbag beside Davey

· Davey is also sat on a beanbag

· Les is on a couch next to Jack

· Because we all know that Jack is his favourite...

· Y/N is snuggled in a JoJo and Elmer sandwich

· Because they are cuddly boys.

· Crutchie is on JoJo's right

· Race is on the floor in front of Y/N

· And Spot is by himself in an armchair

· He's 100% sulking

· But no one knows why...

· JoJo: Yo Albert, you got any popcorn?

· Albert is definitely like some shady dealer when it comes to movie snacks

· He whips two bags out of nowhere...

· It was like MAGIC

· Albert: You want sweet or salted?

· Elmer: Get sweet!

· Albert: Sweet it is

· And he tosses it across the room and JoJo catches it smoothly

· It was like a whole show in itself

· . . .

· The movie starts and its going well

· Spot hasn't complained much

· Y/N is super warm and comfy between Elmer and JoJo

· Elmer is such a cuddle bug and you can't tell me any different

· Every so often Y/N runs her hand through Race's hair

· He likes it, it's comforting to him

· Les REALLY wants a bike

· Like REALLY REALLY wants a pushbike

· Y/N and the boys rally together to get him one for his birthday

· Buts that's a story for a different time

· . . .

· The end of the movie is drawing close

· The popcorn is almost all gone

· And ET is about to leave Elliot

· Y/N just looks at Crutchie

· He's been very engrossed in the film

· And they just both BURST into tears

· Which makes Elmer cry

· When Y/N's sad, he's sad, its as simple as that

· JoJo is just sat in the middle of three crying newsies

· He's honestly not sure what to do...

· But he wraps one arm round Crutchie's shoulder

· He lets Y/N put her head on his shoulder

· And he uses his other hand to rub Elmer's back

· JoJo is the KING OF COMFORT

· Dave tears up a little

· He's sensitive leave him be

· AND THEN

· ET gets in his spaceship and leaves

· AND YOU JUST HEAR A SOB FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM

· Everyone's head's just snap round to the noise

· Spot is just sat there SOBBING

· No one is sure what to do...

· Like they've never seen Spot like this

· A box of tissues is slowly passed from Crutchie to Spot

· He takes them and uses at least 5

· The movie ends

· Y/N and Crutchie have red marks on their face from crying

· And Elmer is still breathing kind heavy

· Race: That was actually really good

· Jack: Yeah I agree, good choice Y/N

· Albert: Im gonna head off to bed, night everyone

· Y/N gets up and gives him a hug

. Its a ritual <3

· Dave: Yeah, me and Les should get going too

· Everyone says their goodbyes

· Spot throws his tissues in the bin and leaves like NOTHING ever happened

· Y/N: Bye Spot

· Spot: Yeah, yeah

· He was not happy...

· Race: So that's why Spot didn't wanna watch ET...

· Jack: I guess so

· Crutchie: He's NEVER going to live that down

· Y/N: Nope...
