I continued to stare in his eyes and I saw something, it looked like a humanoid insect creature.
"Stop staring into my eyes Anthony Clarkson or you'll see something you don't understand". The other guy said with his pupils turning white giving his eyes a reversed look.
"What did I see?" I tell him.
"A future that is not certain and a part of endless possibilities, an event that can either be caused or changed by actions. I see it too and I don't know why it won't stop." He tells me.
"Why are you helping me?"
"I'm different, I broke loose from the mind control of the invaders."
"Who are the invaders?"
But were cut shut by other invaders shooting at us.
Boom...boom...boom
"I'll try to maneuver the ship, go to the weapons deck and fire back. Left jab then fire." He tells me.
I get below to the weapons deck and find the controls with alien inscriptions. A screen comes on and I can see the ships attacking us, much different from ours and much smaller.
Left jab then fire.
I see a main control and follow the instruction.
Blam blam blam
The first ship's main engine explodes and it falls directly into the second.
Boooooooommmmmm
The explosion is loud and damages the third ship's engines.
"Not bad for a rookie!" The other guy shouts. "I'm Mark by the way, or at least I was".
"Nice to meet you Mark."
Crackle
A massive bolt of electricity narrowly misses our ship.
"What the hell was that." I shout out.
"Oh no." Mark replies in a worried tone.
Then I see it, a massive ship thrice the size of ours coming down from the clouds and heading for us.
I knew it was over.
