Chapter 17: The Family

"What do we do now Michael?"
"The way down is too steep!"
"Are we going to die?"
"I miss mum!"
"It's coming!"
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!"

"Noooooo!" I awake screaming. I had another vision about the three kids, so scared, lonely but this time I get a name.

Michael.

Who could he be? He was definitely the oldest of the twins, and was trying to protect his sister and brother from the insect man.

I close my eyes to sleep once more hoping to see more visions to explain more about the kids, could they be my family?

I see a house on a street, I see a car drive into the garage. In the car are the family but the kids appear much younger.

"Michael get the things out of the car and you and Susan should bring them in."

Susan. Another name.

I see them at the dining table having dinner, happy and sharing stories of how their day went, then the younger child spills some milk.

"Charlie! Be careful with that, don't waste food you little critter." The mum says and everyone laughs

The boy turns towards me and smiles.

Charlie...

I'm that boy.

The visions keep repeating for the remainder of the night and I keep thinking about what we were told the first time we woke in this facility.

My parents were killed by the insect man, but how?

Was this a false memory?

Is everything a lie.

I knew we had to break out and see the outside world to know what was going on.

I needed more answers.

I needed to find Tony too, since he was alive. He knew much more than these people at the facility.

Then suddenly every where went red and there was a sharp sound in my room. I could feel my eardrums bleeding.

There was something... someone at the corner of the room.

It had a form of armour.

And it was coming towards me.
