When the group brought Jasper back through those camp doors, when she'd seen the relief on Monty's face after Clarke told him Jasper was still alive, when she saw the new found hope in Octavia's eyes, Venus Kane finally thought everything was getting better...but that was just wishful thinking. Jasper was getting worse.

"His pulse is three eighty." Clarke told her. Jasper was making a lot of noise and people were getting restless. Even Vee but he was her friend and he was hurt so she wasn't about to get angry at him.

"Go back to sleep!" Someone yelled.

"Quiet!" Another said.

Venus bent down her hand cupping Jasper's face as she rubbed her thum across his cheek and whispered to him. "Don't listen to them. You're gonna make it through this, okay? Promise."

"Can he just die already?" Someone yelled stood up straighter, feeling her hands tighten itnto fists.

"I'm gonna get clean water. Keep an eye on him." Clarke started towards the hatch.

"Wait!" Vee reached out for Clarke's arm. "Can I go instead? I promise I won't hurt anyone." Clarke laughed but she nodded and walked over to Jasper while Venus climbed down the ladder.

"Alright who said that!?" She spoke quietly when she reached the bottom. Everyone stayed silent until Octavia pointed at Mbege.

"How about you die instead Mbege? Ya know before, If that was you I would've gone to save you, but hmm not anymore." She could already see Murphy in the corner trying not to laugh but she ignored him. "If you haven't already noticed, Jasper is in a lot of pain right now and you yelling at him to hurry up and die isn't helping." She was trying her best not to yell. She already promised Clarke she wouldn't kill anyone.

She glanced at Bellamy who was staring at her with sad eyes.

"So next time anyone says anything about Jasper needing to die or you tell him to shut up again, I won't hesitate to spear you in the chest. Oh and don't go crying to your friends when I do and I bitch at you for being loud because you've been warned."

With that she walked out to get what Clarke needed with not a peep to be heard.

Bellamy's eyes Vee as she walked out of the dropship but he didn't dare to say another word, just like the rest of the delinquints. If he knew her, which he hoped he still did, he knew she wouldn't actually kill one of them, but she was in here for murder of a guard so who knew?

It suddenly clicked to Bellamy that she was heading outside with no one with her. He stood and made his way out of the drop ship but froze when he heard a girl screaming. It seemed as though Vee heard it too as she dropped the bucket in her hand and walked over to the scream.

Bellamy followed a little, making sure to stay out of sight.

"No! No! No!" The girl cries out.

"Hey, wake up," Vee knelt down infront of her and placed her hand on the girls arm. She looked young, younger than most of the kids here. "It's okay. It's okay. It's just a dream." She rubbed her hand up and down the girls arm. "You're Charlotte, right? I'm Venus, but you can call me Vee. Listen,  It's okay to be scared. Do you wanna talk about it?" Vee sat down further, crossing her legs.

"It's... my parents. They were floated and they... and I see it in my dreams and I just..." The girl Vee called Charlotte trailed off.

"I understand...My mum, she was floated, too. I get nightmares about it and other things every night." Bellamy frowned upon hearing that. He just wanted to help her, but she could barely look at him, let alone talk to him long enough for him to try. "So, how did you end up here?"
