Venus and Murphy had rushed to the drop ship. They sat in the bushes, in the treeline of camp, just incase any Grounders were still around, but by the looks of things, they had all burned to death. Venus looked at all the bodies and sighed. She hated the Ark but she found herself wishing in that moment, as she had done many times lately, that she wished she could be back up there. Hell, she'd even take her cell in the sky box over this.

The door to the drop ship was open but Venus could see none of her friends around. "Something's wrong." She whispered. Murphy glanced at her quickly and then looked ahead again.

"Look," he pointed to the camp, to the drop ship. "A grounder."

"That's the one I attacked back there..."

"Come on." Murphy slowly crept out of the bushes and snuck up behind the Grounder. He picked up a discarded gun and followed him into the drop ship. Venus snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a gunshot and quickly rushed inside.
Me and Murphy shared a worried glance before we were told to get up and then we started going towards the drop ship.

"W- whoa! It's okay. It's okay, Raven, don't. Don't shoot. Please." Venus walked into the drop ship and saw Murphy with his hands up. Past him was Raven. She looked bad and she was holding a gun towards Murphy.

"Why not? You shot me." She pulled the trigger and Murphy flinched but there was no gun shot. She was out. Venus sighed out of relief and walked over to Raven.

"Yeah, I would've shot me too." She heard Murphy say behind her. There was shuffling behind her and she glanced back, seeing him sitting against a wall.

"Hey Raven," Venus grabbed onto her hand. "How are you doing?"

"Just great." She said and tried to move into a better position but it caused her too much pain.

"Okay, how about you don't move?"

"Yeah, that's maybe a good idea." Raven looked at Murphy, studying him. "What are you doing here, Murphy?"

"Dying. Same as you."

"Speak for yourself...how many more are out there?"

"None are out there. The plan worked, they're all gone. I think we're finally safe." Venus said with a smile. "They're all burnt to Hell out there."

"How come that one was alive?"

"They left him behind to guard Murphy and I." Raven nodded her understanding and Venus stood up. She walked outside, checking that the place was still clear. She frowned when she saw that it was. This has to be a dream. It seemed so quiet. It was so quiet, eerily so. Venus didn't like it. "Hey, Raven? What happened to the others..."

When Venus turned back to face her friends, she saw Raven start coughing up blood and before she could even react, Murphy was by her side with a rag. "Raven. Lie on your side. Lie on your side. Come on." He told her but she pushed him away. "Fine, then just roll over yourself. Get down on your side. You're okay. It's all good." He said, strangely being really caring towards the girl he purposely shot.

Venus looked around the drop ship and found a bottle of water. It had only maybe three mouthfuls left but that was better than nothing. "Here. Drink this." She handed it to Raven who looked confused.

"Why are you helping me?" She looked over Murphy and Venus frowned. Raven looked so sick.

"I don't want to die alone." He sat back in his spot against the wall and Venus sat down beside him.
