I woke up to the sun hitting my face. " Ugh. Is it morning already?" I asked myself. I felt a pain in my side again. " I'm not immortal anymore so I'll need time to heal up." I said. I sat up but was in pain. But I caught something out of the corner of my eyes. Y/N was asleep next to me. I immediately began to blush. I also backed up and fell out of bed.
" What is Y/N doing next to me? I don't remember her sleeping with me?" I thought. I checked myself. My clothes were still on thankfully. Y/N turned over and looked at me. " You're awake. But why are you on the floor? That's not good for you in your current state." She said. I continued to blush.
" Well um...Wait. Nevermind that! Why are you in my bed?!" I said. Y/N looked confused. " You don't remember? That's right. You were asleep. You hand a hold of my wrist and didn't want to let go. So I climbed in next to you." Y/N said. I was still blushing. "Whatever. Just go and make breakfast." I said. Y/N nodded and walked out of the room.
Y/N's POV
I was in the kitchen making breakfast. Zamasu seemed a bit distant today. He wasn't like this yesterday. Then again he did save me. " I hope he isn't having second thoughts." I thought to myself. I walked over to him and handed him breakfast. " I made you some scrambled eggs. That should be easy to digest with your wound." I said.
He just looked down and started eating. I sat at the other end of the table and started eating my breakfast. But then I heard someone plop down in. the chair next to me. I turned to face Zamasu. He was sitting next to me. " I think this spot is better." He said. I smiled. We continued eating our breakfast. When we were done, I cleaned off the dishes.
I also changed Zamasu's bandages. He stared at me the whole time I was doing it. " Y/N are you scared of me?" He asked. " Am I scared of you? Not anymore. I used to be because you were trying to kill my brother and I. But now that I've gotten to know you, you're not the beast that I thought you were." I said.
I put my hand on his cheek. He smiled. " Oh wow. Look at that!" I said with excitement. I ran to the balcony. White flakes were coming down from the sky. I put my hand out to catch one. It was cold. " What are these things?" I asked. " You've never seen snow?" Zamasu asked me. I shook my head.
" My brother kept me in the bunker for protection. I've never seen the outside until two days ago. He also never trained me. That's why I'm so weak. I Can't even turn Super Saiyan. But now that I'm away, I can do whatever I want." I said. Zamasu laughed. I started to shiver.
" I-I never realized that s-snow was so c-cold." I said. Zamasu removed his overcoat and put his arm around me. " Is this better?" He asked. " Much." I said. I blushed. We enjoyed the snow for the rest of the day. I ended up falling asleep and Zamasu carried me to bed. I woke up next to him the next morning.
" Good morning Y/N." He said. " Good morning Zamasu." I said. When I checked Zamasu's wounds, they were almost all healed up. " Wow those healed up quickly. Maybe your invincibility is coming back." I said. " No. It's because you're here. I feel stronger and happier when you're around." Zamasu said.
I blushed. " Can we go outside today? I want to play around in the snow." I said. " Sure. But you need a warmer outfit." Zamasu said. He raised his hand towards me and my outfit changed.
