Supreme Kai x Assistant!Reader

Y/N's POV

" Y/N? Can you get me some tea please?" The Supreme Kai asked. " Yes. Right away." I said. I walked off to prepare some tea. I'm a mortal from Earth that was chosen to be the assistant to the Supreme Kai. The Supreme Kai chose me personally. I accepted because my life on Earth was a shit show. My parents were abusive and left me for dead when I was ten years old. I was forced to live on the streets and survive on my own.

I met the Supreme Kai when I tried to rob him. He easily over powered me. But instead of killing me or turning me into the police, he hired me to be his assistance. I was skeptical at first, but it actually turned out to be pretty good. 

I get food, a shelter, a warm bed, and no one tries to beat me up. So it's been fun so far. Kibito and Old Supreme Kai are out surveying planets for the day so it's just me and the Supreme Kai. 
" He is your tea sir." I said. I placed the tea on the table. " Thanks. But Y/N, you know you can call me Shin right?" He said.

I began to blush. " But-but sir! That's unreasonable! I'm your assistant! It's unthinkable." I said. I was clearly flustered. " Alright." He said. He took a sip of the tea. " It's good. Thank you." He said.
I smiled. " No problem." I said. He smiled. " I need to go and do some inventory. So just call me if you need me." I said. I walked away.

Shin's POV

I watched as Y/N walked away. " Damn they are so cute." I said. I started to blush. I've been thinking about Y/N a lot lately and I have no idea why. Kais don't normally feel attachment to other beings. But it's different with Y/N. Whenever he/she is around, I get all flustered and can't think straight. 

" Am I falling for Y/N?" I asked myself. I was pacing back and forth. I shook off the thought. " No. Kais aren't allowed to fall for mortals. i can't be in love with him/her." I sat down and continued to drink the tea that Y/N made me. " It's nice and sweet. Just like Y/N." I thought. I closed my eyes and thought back to the first time I met Y/N.

Flashback

" Alright guys! Time to dig in! Bulma said. We were currently enjoying a victory feast since we won the Tournament of Power. Lord Beerus, Whis, and the saiyans were enjoying most of the food. Everyone else were just talking and obsessing over Bulma's new baby. But me, I was just staring off into the distance. Thinking.

" My Lord. Is something wrong?" Kibito asked me. " No. I'm just thinking." I said. " Might I inquire about what?" Kibito asked me. " He's probably thinking about dirty movies and magazines with hot girls." Elder Kai said. " What?! No I'm not! I'm just thinking about the mortals in the city. About what they are doing right now. Maybe I should go and see for myself." I said. Kibito  and Elder Kai looked at me with a worried expression.

" My Lord you shouldn't!" Kibito said. " Yes. You are a divine being. You shouldn't go out without a guard." Elder Kai said. " I'll be fine. It will just be for a few minutes." I said. I then flew off towards the city. " Now, where to land." I said. I saw an open spot in the shopping district and landed there.

I started walking around. I looked at all the shops. " It seems that humans really like different types of clothing." I said. I continued to walked. " I wonder what I would look like in human clothing." I thought. But my thoughts were interrupted by someone pulling me into the alley. I was slammed up against the wall. " Alright boy. Give me all of your money and you won't get hurt." The mysterious person said.

I opened my eyes to see a man/woman. He/she was about my height. They had h/c hair and e/c eyes. Their clothes were all torn up and they had multiple wounds and scars. They were also holding a small pocket knife. " Well? Give me the money!"They said. " Kai Kai." I said. I teleported behind them.

They turned around in shock. " How did you-" I cut thme off by grabbing the knife out of their hand and causing hem to fall to the ground. " You shouldn't be handling a knife. You're already hurt enough." I said. I made the knife disappear and helped them get up. He/She started crying.
" I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just, I have no other way to make money." He/She said.

" What do you mean?" I asked. " I'm homeless. My parents were abusive and left me for dead when I was ten. I became a criminal to try and get some money to survive. But as you can see, I'm not very good." He/She said. I examined their scars. I then put my hand on their chest.
" What are you doing?" They asked. I closed my eyes and channeled my power.

A glow escaped from my hand and their wounds were healed. " There. You're all healed up." I said with a smiled. " How did you do that?" They asked. " I'm a Supreme Kai. Better known as the Lord of Lords. Healing someone is easy." I said. " So you're a god?" They asked. I nodded.

" Wow. That's impressive. But anyways, I have to get going. See ya." They said. They began walking away. But I grabbed their arm. " Wait. Come back to my planet. You can live there and have all the food you want. You can also be my assistant." I said. " Why would I want to be an assistant?" They asked. " It would give you an excuse to leave Earth." I said. " Done." they said. We shook on it. " I'm Y/N by the way." They said. " Shin." I said.

End of Flashback

I opened my eyes. " Y/N has changed in the years he/she has been here. But I feel that they are still traumatized from events that happened long ago." I said. Whenever I go to hug Y/N, he/she always gets scared and covers their head. Like I'm going to hurt them. " I wish they would open up to me." I said.

Y/N's POV

" And there. That should be the last one." I said. I was organizing books in the library. " Hmm. Shin sure does like to read." i said. One of the first things he told me was to never open the books. Some of them hold magical properties that are dangerous. " Hmm. What's this one?" I asked aloud.

I examined one of the books. " Ancient Creature of the Multiverse. " I read aloud. I examined it. 
" It doesn't looked dangerous. Maybe just one peak." i said. I slowly opened the book to a random page. " See? Nothing went wrong." I said. But then the book started to shake. I dropped it on the ground and backed away. A monster emerged that I've never seen before. I let out a scream. " Shin! Help me!" I said.

Shin's POV

I felt a sudden spike in energy. It was coming from the direction where Y/N was.  Shin! Help me!" I heard Y/N called out. " Y/N." I said. i then started running to their location. I ran into the library and saw a monster near Y/N. It was about to attack him/her. " Stay away from Y/N!" I said. the monster hit me up against the wall.

" Shin no!" Y/N screamed. I got up and wiped the blood away from my mouth. I then summoned a ki blade and charged at the monster. I ended up cutting it in half. The blood went over Y/N and I. I then went for the book, closed it, and put it back on the shelf. I then looked at Y/N angrily.

" You idiot! I told you not to open any of the books! You've could've gotten hurt or worse!" I said. Out of anger I raised my hand to strike him/her. Y/N then got a worried look in his/her eyes and recoiled away. " I'm sorry sir. I tried to be a good assistant. But I suck. Just please don't beat me." They said. They were crying.

I then snapped back to reality and realized that I almost hit Y/N. I then went over to him/her and hugged them. " I'm not going to beat you. I'm sorry for scaring you. And you're the best assistant I've ever had. Even better than Kibito. I just want you safe. i don't want to lose you." I said. Then something unexpected happened. Y/N kissed me.

I kissed back. " No one has ever cared about me before. Thank you." Y/N said. I smiled. " You're welcome. Now can we kiss again?" I asked. Y/N gave a little laugh. " Of course Shin." Y/N said. We then kissed again. " You should probably clean up. You're covered in blood." I said. " So are you. I guess I should take a bath." Y/N said. He/She got up and started walking out. But they stopped at the doorway.

" Want to join me?" They asked. I turned as red as a tomato. " Yes please." I said. Y/N gave another laugh. " Then k'mon." They said. They extended their hand and I took it. Let's just say that night was one to remember.
