Quarantine Changed Us

Chapter 1

Alix had never been one for rumors but when she heard the newest one, she was intrigued. She first heard the news one day before school.

"Hey Alix". She turned and saw her best girlfriend coming up to her.

"Hey Mylene, what's up"? "Did you hear about the virus that is going around"? She asked as the two of them continued towards the school together.

Alix was barely on her phone, due to the fact that she was almost always outside. "No" she answered. "Tell me more".

"Mayor Bourgeois said we could get quarantined because of it". Alix stopped in her tracks.

"Really"?

Mylene turned to her confused. "Yeah why"? "I would never survive quarantine, even though I'd have the whole museum to myself but it would be boring as hell" Alix groaned.

Mylene knew her friend hated being trapped inside.

Chloe's limo pulled up and Sabrina ran to open the door. She stepped out and strutted up to Adrien, screaming for him.

Alix rolled her eyes.

How could one girl become such a drama queen?

"What are you looking at, losers"?! Chloe yelled when she saw them.

"Not much"! Alix yelled back, making Mylene snicker. Chloe just glared at the pinknette who had a smirk plastered on her face.

"Let's go" Alix and Mylene walked up the stairs, into the school.

"Who would you stay with, your parents or Ivan"? Mylene turned red. "Probably my parents, they would never let me stay with my boyfriend, the whole sex thing and all".

"Can't relate, my brother is aromatic so he's never had a partner" Alix said. "And I've never had a relationship".

"You'll find someone, I just know it" Mylene said confidently. "Thanks... hey dude"! Alix waved to Nino.

"Hey dudette, what's up"? He asked.

"Not much" she shrugged. "We were just talking about the whole quarantine rumor" Mylene said.

"Oh that"! Nino waved Alya over. "Alya and I are staying together if it happens, she doesn't want to stay with her crazy family so she's willing to live with mine".

"That's great" Alix watched as Nino slid an arm around Alya.

"What's up"? "We were just..." Nino and Alya walked away as they talked to find Adrien and get him away from Chloe.

"Don't look now, but Kim is here" Mylene gestured towards the door.

Alix grabbed her friends wrist and ran into the locker room. "Do you think he saw us"? She asked. Mylene shrugged.

Alix sighed and opened her locker, putting her bag inside.

"Why are you avoiding him anyway"? Mylene followed what she was doing.

"In case you haven't noticed, he's so annoying"! Alix closed her locker and leaned against it. "I mean, don't get me wrong, he give some good dares but far too many".

"I thought he was supposed to stop giving dares after the whole..." Mylene trailed off.

"Yeah he was but he thought it wasn't fair when I clearly won" Alix knew what she was implying so she didn't bother talking about the situation. "Let's just hope he stops".

The room was started to crowd with other students. "See you in class" Alix waved at Mylene as she walked over to talk to Ivan.

She left the room and made her way to Ms. Bustier's classroom. There was a couple students already in there like Nathaniel, Juleka and Rose.
