Chapter 17

Lunch rolled around and the girls were discussing their weekend plans. "Maybe we could have a sleepover"! Rose suggested.

"I'm free" Alya said. "Same" everyone else said. "What about you, Alix"?

"Not sure, I might have a event to go to or something" she answered.

"Oh" Marinette looked up. "Hey Chloe, Sabrina, come sit with us"! The two girls walked over and the group cleared spots for them. Chloe was obviously forced next to Alix.

"What were you guys talking about"? Sabrina asked. "Sleepover, you two should come as well" Mylene said. "Sure, I'm free Saturday, Chloe"?

Everyone looked at her.

"I don't know, I might have a boring party to go to" she said. "Well if you do have one, at least Alix will be there" Juleka said.

Alix raised her eyebrow while Chloe blushed. "Yeah...".

"So, Saturday night at...who's house"? Alya asked. "You guys can come over to the hotel" Chloe suggested.

"Wow, a night at the most prestige hotel in paris" Marinette laughed. "I've never actually stayed over night before" Mylene said.

"The only people in this whole school that have stayed there are: Me, Adrien, Sabrina and Allykins" Chloe side hugged the pinknette.

"I like staying there but the whole Miss thing gets old" Alix groaned, making Chloe laugh.

"Yes"! She laughed. "She spent all 7 days telling people  to stop calling her Miss Kubdel or Miss Alix".

"The only person who didn't call me that was your mother" Alix gestured to Alya.

"Because she knows you" Alya said.

"I don't like being treated like I'm rich" Alix put her head in the table. "But you are" Sabrina said. "I know, that's the worst part"! Alix complained.

Chloe stared at her in amusement.

"We should invite the whole class to the sleepover" Marinette said. Alix shot up. "No"!

"I agree, no boys allowed" Chloe said. "Ok, maybe Nathaniel and Marc but just maybe". "Why won't you invite the others"? Alya asked.

"Because I don't want to see someone making out everytime I turn my head" Alix mumbled so only Chloe heard. She snorted and got weird looks from everyone.

"Sorry, my father wouldn't let me have boys that are interested in girls, in my room" She said.

"What about girls who are interested in girls"? Rose asked.

"Almost all of us like the same gender, but my father doesnt need to know that" Chloe said. "Juleka and Rose are dating but it's not like anyone else is crushing on someone in the group".

Rose and Juleka exchanged a knowing look and Alya, Mylene and Marinette kept from laughing.

Alix stared at her hands and stayed quiet.

"So yeah, sleepover at the Grande Paris hotel" Chloe said. Sabrina checked the time. "We should eat before lunch is over" she told everyone.

"We're bad at multitasking" Mylene laughed.

Alix hated the times where time went by slowly. It usually happened before a lacrosse match or a roller derby.

So whenever Alix was excited or nervous.

She sat in the last class, either staring at the clock or at Chloe, who luckily sat in front of her. "You guys can leave a little early today, have a nice weekend, class" Ms. Bustier smiled and everyone started packing up.

Alix grabbed her books and shoved them in her bag. She looked around and saw Alya and Nathaniel whispering. They looked up at her and quickly left the room.

"I have a feeling Nathaniel didn't keep our conversation a secret" Alix thought. "Wait, does this mean Alya ships Chloe and I"?

Alix smiled at the thought and left the room. She was so distracted that she didn't notice Chloe calling her name.

"I called you a bunch of time" Chloe panted. "I'm so sorry, I was distracted" Alix apologized.

"Its ok" Chloe assured her. "Do you want a drive there or do you want to walk"?

"Might as well drive since your chauffeur drove all the way here" Alix shrugged.

They walked down the stairs and Chloe opened the door. "After you" she said, imitating a gentleman. "Why thank you" Alix laughed and got in.

Chloe got in and closed the door. "The Louvre, Miss Bourgeois"? The driver asked. "Yes please" she said. They started off towards Alix's place.

Chloe stared at Alix as she looked out the window.

"I wonder what she's thinking about" She thought. "I'd be lying to myself if I said she was thinking about me" Chloe sighed.

Too bad she couldn't read Alix's mind.

"What am I going to say"!? Alix panicked. "I can't do this at all"!

They pulled up to the Louvre after the silent car ride and got out, thanking the driver.
