Chapter 14

After school, all the girls crowded on the steps. "Would your parents mind if we brought Sabrina some cookies"? Chloe asked Marinette.

"Of course not, I'll go grab a box now" Her and Alya ran towards the bakery. "I guess we'll wait for them then" Alix chuckled.

"You're so impatient" Chloe said. Alix rolled around Chloe. "I'm not impatient, if anything you're the impatient one".

"What"! Chloe pretended to be offended. "Name one time".

Alix stopped and held her phone up to her ear. "Yes that's my lunch order, Hurry it up, I'm hungry"! She yelled dramatically.

Rose and Juleka laughed and Mylene took a video for Alya. "That was once"! Chloe protested.

Alix raised her eyebrow.

"Ok fine, you win this round Kubdel" she grumbled. "What's taking them so long"!? Chloe stomped her foot.

"Come on, Allykins let's go" she grabbed Alix's hand and tried to pull her. "They're literally right there, Chloe" She pointed in front of them.

Chloe stopped pulling her and saw them. "Oh" she looked down and remembered Alix was wearing her rollerblades.

"How did you manage to not move when you're on wheels"?! She said, her mouth hanging open in confusion. Chloe was still holding her hand so Alix pulled her close. "Because I'm just that good".

Chloe bit her lip to keep from saying something she'd regret.

"Are we interrupting anything"? Alya smirked. Chloe stepped away from Alix and let go of her hand.

"Let's go" She said quickly and started towards Sabrina's house.

Alix placed a hand on her fast beating heart. She was trying to tease Chloe but that obviously back fired.

She saw Alya take out a notebook and write something in it. Alix skated over and tried to look at it.

"What are you writing"? She asked, making Alya jumped.

"Just my to do list" she lied. "Hm" Alix didn't believe her but left to skate in front of everyone.

"I'm sorry for that awkward moment" Alix said as she ended up next to Chloe. Chloe sighed. Alix made her crazy. "It's fine" she finally said.

"Guys, we're here" Mylene said. They walked to the door and Chloe knocked. Ms. Raincomprix opened the door and smiled.

"Hello girls, come to see Sabrina"? She asked. "Yes ma'am" Alix said.

"Come on in" she opened the door wide and the girls went inside, taking off their shoes in the process.

"You have a nice home" Marinette said.

"Thank you, Chloe I believe you know where Sabrina's room is"? Ms. Raincomprix said. Chloe nodded and headed upstairs, the girls in step behind her. Chloe opened the door, surprising Sabrina.

"Hey Chloe" she sniffed. "I have a surprise for you" Chloe waved her hand and everyone else came in the room.

"You all came" Sabrina smiled, softly. "You didn't have to".

"Of course we did, you're our friend" Alix said.

"Find somewhere to sit, I feel like I'm on my deathbed" Sabrina giggled. Alix and Chloe sat on either sides of Sabrina and the rest found a spot on the floor.

"So tell me everything that happened today because I obviously missed a lot" Sabrina gestured to Marinette and Alya.

After the time to hang out was up, Everyone waved bye to Sabrina and wished her well.

"Thank you for having us over" Mylene said. "Anytime girls" Ms. Raincomprix smiled and closed the door behind them.

Chloe's limo was waiting for her per her father's request. "I could've walked" Chloe sighed.

"See you guys tomorrow" Marinette and Alya waved as they set off towards Alya's apartment.

"Bye"! Rose and Juleka were head to Juleka's and Mylene was going home.

"It was a good idea to invite us all, it really cheered Sabrina up" Alix said to Chloe, holding her skates in her hand.

"Just being the nice person I am" She joked. "See you tomorrow, Chlo" Alix smiled.

She went to leave and Chloe grabbed her arm. Alix faced her and she forgot how to speak. "I... do you want a ride home"? She asked.

"I'll save you the trip" Alix said. "Please". She looked up at Chloe's eyes.

"Ok" Alix obliged. Alix got in and Chloe followed.

"The Louvre museum, please" Chloe told the driver. He nodded and began to drive.

"So I've been getting good at history without you" Chloe said to start a conversation.

"Oh are you"? Alix smirked with a cocked eyebrow. "Yep, I might even get better then you" Chloe teased.

"I'm top of the class, no one will ever be better then me, not even Chloe Bourgeois" Alix laughed.

"You're not top of the class in Ms. Mendeleiev's class" Chloe pointed out.

"That women has a personal vendetta against anyone who can talk back to her, I haven't even done it before and she hates me"! Alix ranted. Chloe giggled.

"Did I seriously just giggle" she internally screamed at herself.

"So about the homework due next week, I'll need help with that" Chloe said.

"Sure, come over tomorrow and we'll work on it" Alix said. "Yeah, that'd be great".

If Chloe was Marinette, she'd be stuttering so bad. Alix stole a glance at Chloe.

"I'm so glad, I'm not like Marinette or Adrien" she thought. The car pulled in front of the Louvre.

"Thanks for the ride" Alix said as she got out. "No problem, see you tomorrow, Allykins" Chloe waved.

Alix smiled and closed the door.

"To the hotel, please" Chloe ordered. Alix watched her drive away and sighed.

"I need to talk to someone". She walked into the museum and went upstairs.

"Not my brother, none of the girls, definitely not Kim or my dad". Alix scrolled through her phone as she paced around the art gallery.

She looked up at a painting.
"Nathaniel it is".

Nathaniel in his room, cuddling with Marc. "Do you think Chloe would make her happy"? Marc wondered.

"I think so, but we can beat her up if she hurts Alix" Nathaniel laughed. "We're too nice for that" Marc said.

"You're right, Kim would beat Chloe up" Nathaniel corrected himself. His phone started ringing, disturbing them.

"Hello"? He picked it up. "Hey Nath, um...can you come to the Louvre"? Alix asked.

Nathaniel sat up. "Are you ok"? He asked worriedly.

There was a pause.

"Just try and get here, and yes you can bring Marc" she said before hanging up.

Nathaniel looked at his phone then over at his partner who was interested. "That was Alix" he said. "What did she need"?

"We need to go to the Louvre now" Nathaniel stood up. "It's nearly nighttime though" Marc pointed to the window.

"Then we'll sleepover if it come to that, do you want Alix to be akumatized"?! Marc shot up.

"Well what are we waiting for, let's go"!

They ran downstairs and told Nathaniel's parents where they were headed and left.
