Alix spent most of after school packing her things.

She liked to be organized so she made a list of things she needed, but if she forgot something she could live without it.

"And last but not least, my phone" Alix threw it in the front pocket of her suitcase and zipped it up.

She looked around for anything else. Her eyes found her rollerblades and she sighed.

They weren't going with her, due to the fact she'd have to stay inside.

"I could always skate in the hallways..." Alix shook her head.

Too many security cameras for her to do that.

"Ready to go"? Jalil asked from the doorway. "Yep" she took the handle on the suitcase a dragged it behind her as they left the room.

"You're probably happy I'm leaving" Alix said.

"Not really, you're the funny one, without you, it'll just be dad and I talking about history" Jalil said.

"Like you would hate that" Alix laughed. "You're right I'm going to love it" he chuckled.

They made their way out the Louvre and over to their dad, who was waiting by a limo.

"Really"? Alix took in the ride.

"André insisted you arrive in his limousine" Alim said. "Ok then, bye Jalil" she waved at her brother and hugged her dad. "Bye dad".

"I'll see you in a week, sweetie" he opened the door and Alix slid in. She could practically smell Chloe's perfume. It made her want to gag.

The car started moving and Alix gave on last wave before facing forward.

The car was way too big for her liking. She felt really small.

Alix watched the buildings pass by until she saw the Agreste mansion, then the Grande Paris.

The car stopped in front of it and the door was opened for her. She got out and could finally breath air that didn't smell horrible.

"Miss Kubdel, nice if you to stay with us" Mayor Bourgeois greeted her as the doors slid open.

Alix cringed when he called her that. "Please just call me Alix" she said.

He blinked for a second. "Of course Miss Alix, we'll get your things" he gestured one of the staff over to take her bag but she held up her hand.

"I'll take it myself, it doesn't weigh much" she said.

The man glanced at his boss who shrugged. "So where is my room"? Alix asked as the man walked away. "Oh yes, follow me".

They walked to an elevator and André pressed the highest number.

"Are you and my Chloekins still good friends"? He asked.

"Chloekins? Gag".

"Yes we are" Alix lied.

"That's wonderful, how come I don't see you around as often as I used to"? Alix felt like this was an interrogation.

"Trying to balance hanging with all my other friends and my sports is hard so I don't always get around to her".

"Sports"? André turned pale. Right, rich people should not do sports.

Luckily the elevator signaled that they had arrive at the top floor. "Here's your room" They stopped in front of a door. "And your key" he handed her a card.

"Thank you" she opened the door and walked inside. It was small but most likely bigger than her room.

She was glad she didn't get the other large room. Alix placed her bag on the end of her bed and turned back to Chloe's dad.

"Where's Chloe's room"?

"Come, I'll show you". He gestured down the hall. Alix followed him out the door and to the end of the hallway.

"Chloe, you in here"? He knocked.

"Come in, daddy". "God her voice is so revolting" Alix thought. André took out his master key and went inside.

"Hey daddy..." Chloe spotted the small pink haired girl behind him but kept her smile on her face.

"I trust you two will get along" André said. "It's a good thing you're friends" he chuckled. "Goodnight sweetie".

Chloe blew him and kiss as he left. Once his footsteps faded down the hallway, Chloe frowned at the girl in front of her. "Friends"?

"I had to tell him something" Alix shrugged. "Though my dad thinks we're friends as well, from noticing us at gatherings and stuff".

"What is it with you Kubdels and noticing everything"! Chloe rolled her eyes.

"That's just how it works I guess" Alix said.

"I don't have to see you right now, leave" Chloe shooed her away.

"Thank god I was going to die" Alix grinned and opened the door. "Till tomorrow Bourgeois".

Chloe ran at her but she closed the door too fast. "This is going to be a long week" Chloe thought and got ready for bed.

The next morning, Chloe got up at her usual time and got ready for the day.

She took a shower, did her makeup and picked out an outfit. She decided to go with a black and white tank top with her usual pants and shoes.

"There" Chloe stood in the mirror, admiring herself. She flicked her hair and walked down the hall to Alix's room.

"Do you think I could do it"? Chloe heard Alix say.

"Technically you can but I can't tell you anything".

Chloe was confused. The other voice sounded almost identical to Alix's.

"I know, I know, I guess there's no harm in trying then" Alix said.

Chloe knocked on the door and opened the door with her key. She saw a flash of white and Alix spun around to face Chloe.

"Who were you talking to"? She asked. Alix wasn't holding her phone and there was obviously no one else in the room.

"Myself" She answered.

"I guess it makes sense" Chloe thought. "Let me get dressed and I'll meet you in your room" Alix shooed her out the door.

"Oh good, you're not going to touch me with your dirty hands" Chloe said.

"Yeah lucky you, now leave" Alix closed the door in her face and she returned to her room.

"She's so weird" Chloe thought.

Alix sighed as she looked around her room. "That was close". She grabbed her usual clothes and threw them on before heading to Chloe's.
