Chapter 15

Alix waited in her living room until the doorbell rung. She opened the door and the couple burst in.

"Who did you kill that we need to cover up"?! Nathaniel asked.

"Yeah what he said"! Marc said. "Wait what"? They stared at the red haired boy, who shrugged.

"I didn't kill anyone, I..." Alix started but didn't continue. "Let's go to my room".

She hurried down the hall and once they were sitting on her bed, she started ranting.

"I literally spent 7 days with her and suddenly I like her, what kind of logic is that? I mean we were iffy friends before everything but we weren't that close! Like I'm demiromantic and I apparently formed a friendship with her before falling for her. Well that's actually true but it's been 12 days"!

"So? I fell for Marc upon meeting them" Nathaniel said.

"But you guys went through the whole Reverser thing, coming out to your families and finally telling each other you like the other" Alix said.

"And that took like 2 weeks" Marc reminded her. "And you and Chloe went through you being akumatized" Nathaniel said.

"She was dead for half of it"! Alix stopped. "I killed my crush! She'll never love me"! Alix fell onto the bed.

Marc patted her back. "How do you know she doesn't like you"?

"She said, and I quote "I'm not looking for anyone right now" Alix groaned.

"Maybe she's looking now" Nathaniel encouraged her.

"I'm not up to her standards at all"! Alix hit her face with a pillow. "Look, tell her your feelings and if she doesnt, then..." Nathaniel got cut off.

"Ladybug and Cat Noir will have to put up with me as a knock off Dark Cupid"! Alix yelled.

"That won't happen, we'll make sure of it" Marc said.

"Tomorrow is Friday, you can either tell her tomorrow or suffer all weekend long" Nathaniel told her.

"Fine, I'll tell her, she's coming over anyway" Alix said.

"Makes your job easier" Marc said.

"We have to go before my mom sends out a search party for us" Nathaniel said.

"Alright, see you guys tomorrow, and thanks for listening" Alix said as she walked to the door with them. "Have a fun sleepover" she waved as they went down the stairs.

Alix closed the door and returned to her room.

"Tomorrow is going to either be the best day ever or the worst day ever" she thought.

After slipping into her bed, Alix laid staring at the ceiling. All she could think about was Chloe and how happy she was when the two of them were together.

What if she ruined everything with those three words?

Nerdyredhead- Yes, are you ok?

Parisprincess- Have you ever fell in love with someone?

Nerdyredhead- No, why?

Parisprincess- I think, no I know I have a crush on someone

Nerdyredhead- Just start your rant already

Parisprincess- Ok... I think I fell for her too quick. I mean we were together for 7 days and she's demiromantic so she needs to form a connection before falling in love. So even if she could love me, she wont right now because that's wayyyy too quick.... Right?
