Chapter 5

The door to Chloe's room was open when Alix got there so she just walked right in.

"Hurry up, Jean-Paul"! Chloe ordered. The butler quickly finished whatever he was ordered and left, closing the door behind him.

"Oh right, you're here" Chloe rolled her eyes and sat at the table. 

Alix was unsure what she was supposed to do.

"Well, sit down". Chloe gestured to the empty seat. "You eat alone too"? Alix asked even though she obviously did.

"Daddy is always working when I get up" Chloe said as she ate her breakfast.

"Same with my dad" Alix said.

They ate in silence, ignoring the others presence. After they were done Chloe's butler took away their plates. "Thank you" Alix said to him. "You're welcome, Miss Alix" He smiled.

"Does everyone call you Miss Chloe"? She asked."Yeah, sometimes Miss Bourgeois too" Chloe answered. "Anyways, would you like a tour"?

"I've been here before" Alix pointed out.

"It gives me something to do, so let's go"! Chloe stood and Alix followed.

Every floor was pretty much the same as they worked their way down the stories. At the very end, they arrived at the ballroom.

"I forgot how big this ballroom was" Alix said as she spun around.

"Well there hasn't been an event since Christmas so" Chloe said.

"Hey, remember when we threw that candy cane at some guy because he was creepy"? Alix laughed.

"Omg yes and then he got akumatized into candy crusher" Chloe laughed with her. "It was fun watching him freak out".

"Ladybug probably wasn't amused" Alix chuckled.

Chloe stared at the pink haired girl as she twirled around. She liked Alix's company even if she wouldn't admit it.

After Alix stopped spinning, they left the room and headed back upstairs.

Feeling bored, the two girls watched movies until dinner.

"Wow, that was terrible" Alix commented after Chloe's choice of movie ended.

"No way, I love makeover movies" She said with a frown.

"But I like action movies" Alix scowled.

"Can't have it both ways, Kubdel"! Chloe scrolled through to find the next movie.

"Oh how about this one"? She stopped on one. "Miss Congeniality"? Alix scoffed.

"Ok you hate the name so we definitely have to watch it" Chloe pressed play and forced Alix to watch it.

"That... wasn't half bad" Alix admitted after it ended.

"Yeah it combined our movie preferences" Chloe agreed. "Time to call for room service" she grabbed her phone and dialed the number.

"Hi, yes it's Miss Bourgeois" she looked over the menu. "Yes the usual and..." Chloe paused to look at Alix. "What do you want"?

"A burger I guess" she shrugged. Chloe looked like she was going to have a heart attack but told the person on the other end her order.

"And be quick about it"! She yelled and hung up.

Alix didn't say anything and just turned away. She took put her phone and texted her friends.

Ladyblogger- As cute as you two are I wanna know more about Alix's life with the blonde demon?
Skaterqueen- Would you believe me if I said it's not completely horrible?
Ladyblogger- She's been influenced, everyone run
Clumsybaguette- Chloe not being terrible? I'll believe it when I see it
Naturelover- If Alix said she's being nice then why shouldn't we trust her?
Ladyblogger- Because Chloe will never be nice, she's too much of a rich brat
Skaterqueen- I'm rich too, you know
Ladyblogger- Well... you're not a brat
Skaterqueen- Bye girls

Alix put her phone down and leaned her head back.

She knew she could help Chloe be good again, she just didn't know how to get her to trust her enough.

"The food is here" Chloe told her.

Alix sat in the same spot she did at breakfast and had her meal served to her.

"Enjoy" Jean- whatever his name is said. Silence fell as the two girls ate. Once Alix was finished, she wiped her mouth and looked up at Chloe, to see her sad face.

"What's wrong"? She asked.

Chloe snapped out of her thoughts and growled. "None of your business".

Alix stood up and walked over. "Does it have something to do with Sabrina"?

"I said, it's none of your business"! Chloe yelled. "I don't need your help, now get out"! She snapped.

"Chloe...".

"I said get out"! Chloe stood and pushed Alix out the door, slamming it in her face.

She sighed and walked away as Chloe slid down the door in tears.
